And then the CA government is bewildered when get into a disastrous deficit 🙄
  • Taxes on what you earn. Taxes on what you save. Taxes on what you inherit. Taxes on what you buy. Taxes on what you sell. Taxes on things you already purchased and paid taxes on, so that the government will allow you to use them. Taxes on your home, that sits on land you don't own. Don't pay the property taxes you won't own the home anymore. And this is where your taxes go.

City council is pushing for LA to go cashless. Why is this not being covered.
  • “They say it was a success”- they as in the ones dispersing the tax payer money
  • People working under the table, not paying taxes while receiving our tax money. There is no end to the Stupidity. How we vote matters, we matter.

Studies show that this just makes people work less. Terrible idea but if these politicians want to fund this out of their salary and pension I'm all for it.
  • Outrageous! Get a JOB! Never received a "cent" as American Citizen or free food, utilities, rent EVER! Had to WORK! STOP THE MADNESS😡

Los Angeles doesn't have the money to expand the program. A small study with significant oversight and vetting of recipients is no guarantee that a massively expanded one would have the same success. However, assisting teens exiting foster care has the greatest prognosis for success. Foster children neither caused their plight nor had the power to control their life chances. Assistance in launching then into productive adulthood pays future dividends.

How to help Seniors in DHS Riverside county. abuse, and left to pay for dental vision and hearing ins. How can we get help,???
  • You mean I can sit at home and get paid? Great! Quitting my job soon.
  • My LA does not have the money to print ONE paper with these words written on it. HILARIOUS guaranteed income.
  • So who pays for this "free" money? How about giving out jobs instead of money? I worked in an area where welfare was the norm. That area is even worse, 50 years later. Are you getting the picture?
