The scene where he eats a strawberry that Frank had grown for them, and then just loses it, hit me hard. Such a beautiful moment.

The thought of Nick Offerman sitting around playing Banjo Kazooie is precious

Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett definitely deserve recognition to this due to their performance of the storytelling, but the writers also deserve recognition for it. They created the story of course.

I don't cry over shows/movies but I sobbed when he brought out their first meal as their last. Stellar performance by Nick and I hope he gets nominated! So beautiful and daunting.

The late scene with old Bill sitting on the couch with the biggest frown on his face really got me. Nick Offerman is a great actor.

It’s the attention to detail that made this episode so great. The plating of the food. The song on the piano. The strawberries. The never showing the bodies in the bedroom. The letter to Joel with that line about Tess that finally broke Joel’s defences. I was prepared for this episode, but in the end these little things got me.
  • Nick Offerman killed his role in The Last of Us. We knew him from just Parks and Rec, as Ron Swanson, I had no idea he was capable that acting range. He reminds me a lot of Byran Cranston. From a comedy show to a absolute beast of a drama actor. Nick is on another level now.

Genuinely had me ugly crying for five minutes, such an incredible episode of TV.
  • Some of the best casting in a show or movie I've seen in a while. He was perfect in the role.

I'll never get over the heartache of this story. Nick and Murray blew me away.

Nick and Murray absolutely OWNED that episode. The script was nothing short of a masterpiece. The level of detail that went into the staging of each scene was genius. And the cinematography and music were perfect. If this episode doesn't win awards, I don't know what's wrong with people...
  • Dude the scene when Nick is crying towards the end on the couch and he has the frown is just crushing.

Give that man an Emmy. That performance was absolutely amazing.

I never thought Offerman would absolutely destroy me emotionally but he did. Twice. He deserves all the rewards for his performance. Absolutely phenomenal episode
  • @CableAnna
It is unbelievable how they were able to convey so much emotion in 75minutes of tv
  • @SadCat69
Why is no one talking about Murray Bartlett's performance ??? He was INCREDIBLE
  • @leelanzini
The cast and crew have done so damn good so far. They’ve put so much care and detail into this series
  • @Kagarin05
The fact that the last game Nick Offerman every played the hell out of was banjo kazooie warms my heart even more 😂
  • @MrMonro27
It was truly amazing at how his awkwardness towards relationships and opening up on screen transferred out to me while watching. It was palpable towards the beginning of the show and then as the show went on I honestly forgot about it. Some of the best acting, writing, and visuals I’ve ever seen on a single episode of a show! I CAN NOT WAIT to see what else they have in store for us in the rest of the season!?!
  • @redguru
I cried like a baby to this episode. The emotion was unreal
