I don't think Aventurine will leave IPC. Because his biggest enemy Oswaldo who's responsible for all what happened on Sigonia is now the head of the Marketing Development Department, and he's Dimond's opponent too. These information can be found in the description of the new simulated universe relics and the dialogue between Topaz and Aventurine during 1.4 main quest. So it's possible that part of the reason why aventurine joined Dimond's team is because he wanted to get revenge with Dimond's help.

There's a lot more that villainizes the IPC than just 'they wanna make money.' Their mission revolves around collecting all of the materials to provide the Aeon Qlipoth with these materials by piling them up on planets near where they are building the wall. Qlipoth completely ignores them, since they are likely able to manifest walls from the imaginary energy, so all of this material goes to waste and the planets they ruined in order to obtain the materials are left resourceless. They will do anything to make money but it's not really about the money itself, and is 'all for the Amber Lord.' And this goes all the way back to the roots when Louis Fleming and Dongfang Qixing figured out they could simply lie about the value of items in order to convince planets to hand over all of their resources. There may be some argument that this is all for the greater good of helping Qlipoth protect the universe, except it has been an entirely fruitless endeavor and they still continue to attempt to ruin planets, like Jarilov VI, just so they can swindle all the valuable resources - in this case, they're clearly after Jarilo VI's Geomarrow which is likely some of Qlipoth's magic amber.
  • The interesting detail about the stonehearts is that each cornerstone is directly drawn from Diamond himself and he entrusts them to each stoneheart. The fact that this includes Topaz and Aventurine says something as the person he managed to talk into the Penacony plan is the stereotypical Capitalist and entrusted it to Aventurine with the support of both Topaz & Jade granting him their respective cornerstones. The power of fragment of a fragment of an emanator that only a full emanator could out match being Acheron. The more interesting detail is that Aventurine had an out of the IPC: he was invited to the Masked Fools and passed it up to stay with the IPC. The memory we see of him with Jade to now more likely implies he is no longer physically a slave, but has shackled himself in a different way. He buries his past, yet the fear persists from that time. His branding is still there for the world to see as are his eyes. Though by contrast, Diamond could of sent someone like Opal who to some lesser details is far more hostile and more for militaristic assaults. Yet Diamond chose Aventurine. Given both him and Topaz share similar backgrounds and his stark contrast to his fellow emanator: Diamond may see commerce much more like Topaz does. It's a means to an end, rather than the goal itself. More money is great, but Diamond is also far more risky given his entrusted stonehearts have been taking much riskier bets than what is traditionally known of the IPC. Topaz in fact has the highest success rates for what she specializes in compared to those in her area. And the fact that she runs around with a warp trotter of all things, which is illegal by the IPC again suggests that Diamond may not fit the mold set by the IPC, which has been notorious for not being in line with Qlipoth. In fact, Qlipoth almost ignores the IPC barring the 3 emanators (with only two named). Given Penacony's history and it's current status, Diamond's play for it at a glance seems to be a simple power move. However, it's status alone isn't the thing. Diamond betting on Aventurine already has paid off. Penacony's dreamscape, the marvel of it? Completely shattered by a fool. And now, has given legal credence for the IPC to step in on the grounds that Penacony cannot deny death. Which was already murky when considering Penacony had been hiding Chadwick, a Genius Society member. And this is the same faction that doesn't only control the common currency used everywhere. The IPC has a formal alliance with the Xiaoxhou, which is why the stonehearts can be compared to the Arbiter Generals who are ballparked to emanators, but never actually called an emanator such as Jing Yuan. The IPC certainly reflects the morally gray attributes that comes from the idea of a hyper Capitalist society set in space. They are functionally not just a company, they're effectively planet spanning empire with the closet comparison being the Xiaoxhou ships. But that also means that there's plenty of variance in the IPC as just joining the numbered ranks comes from numerous tests and grinding against stone to climb the ladder, which at a glance doesn't sound like the two stonehearts. More likely, if we learn more about the stonehearts, Diamond is going to be a window into how one tackles the IPC from within.

I lowkey want Adventurine to come back and join the astral express i think he would fit in perfectly
  • @earlgrey3835
spoiler: it was hinted by the Harmony that Aventurine really just wanna die be together with his family. Diamond understood that and thus assigning Aventurine for the job
  • @qqqqqqqqquantum
Aventurine is a character who suffered due to manipulation from the outside by IPC. I really hope that he will be alive, his story touched me. He can join the Star Express at any time, and I'm really looking forward to this storyline.

The IPC being named after gems makes sense when you realize it's called the Amber Lance. Ain't that the weapon of Qlipoth?
  • @Ordell1991
Aeon Qlipoth is basically a giant rock. So no wonder the IPC got manager with code name related with rocks/stones. ๐Ÿ’ค
  • @BushidoRoad
The IPC kinda reminds me a little of the Fatui.
  • @Twocat5side
10:55 why didn't you use the example of the East India company? Their driving motive was also profit (and they build infrastructure in the colonies to extract that profit more efficiently)

I don't agree with your statement that Topaz implicitly had a choice in joining the IPC, because the choice that was offered to her was to become enslaved and work the IPC until the IPC didn't need her anymore (which is never going to happen), or have her planet destroyed. Topaz is as much of a slave as Aventurine is, but compared to Aventurine, she's so brainwashed in favor of the IPC that she can't see the moral evil of even her own situation. She thinks she's lucky the IPC "rescued" her and her home planet, despite the reason her planet ended up the way it did was because of the way the IPC exploited its natural resources. The biggest problem with Topaz' story was that it refused to view the IPC as a system of power (I'd argue it's still true for Aventurine's story, but at least it's not nearly as bad) and instead took the typical centrist position that morality is only confined to individuals, so a system can neither be good nor bad, only people can be. What this meant for Topaz' story was that it was not the IPC that were good or bad, but people working within the IPC, and if you could change their minds i.e. Topaz' to do good things, then there can only be good outcomes such as saving Belobog from disaster, while completely ignoring that the system the IPC operates on is inherently made to create a situation where they would colonize Belobog and turn its people into slaves. Topaz' story was a mess in general (tonally it was all over the place), but the truth is that Topaz is as much a slave to the IPC as Aventurine is, though he slavery lies in the contract her planet signed with the IPC in order to be "saved" by them, rather than being bought and sold. The difference is that Topaz is not aware that she's a slave but Aventurine is. What makes me so angry about Topaz' story was that the premise was a good way to actually discuss the nature of what it means to live in a late-stage neoliberal society, but I genuinely think the HSR team is too afraid to get shat on from the Chinese government so they just won't go there. The writing alludes to this sometimes such as in Aventurine's story (there are many interesting comments about affluence, being empty in the self and seeking escapism through excessive consumerism) but I wish they could actually commit to being able to criticize capitalism for what it is. It doesn't mean we also can't see the positives it has had in developing modern society, especially since the IPC is depicted as what happens when capitalistic forces are completely unrestrained from any sense of government control (the IPC is the government, in at least some parts of the HSR universe).

I think Diamond is on the Board of Directors. Anyone who's a department head is on the board from some background lore I've read. And while an Emanator, I think Diamond's goals are to help Qlipoth (especially since an emanator is directly powered by an Aeon) even if most of the IPC's efforts go unnoticed by their Aeon. Most in the Organization are in it for the paycheck, but we also know Oswaldo (the marketing head) was once a Nameless and friend to Himeko (and is implied to be the one who informed her of Topaz's success rate and subsequently helped in the Jarillo VI negotiations by agreeing with Topaz when she sided with Bronya) and if Diamond is working towards Qlipoth's goals, then the whole of the company isn't evil but just misguided or extreme in their methods. They also seem to want Elio as he's the only member of the Stellaron Hunters who is wanted strictly alive and unharmed.

His story reminds me with North Korea decendants. They live in Japan and SK. Those who escape from NK and went to SK still not treated good. Many news reported about their life still not get better cause failed to adjusted in new country. Only small of them who can succesfully have something better than in NK. But still people gonna talk shady about them. That is sad reality in Asia

Biggest chad move he did was smash his own cornerstone and mixed it with the junk gems in the bag, so he could pass off Jade's stone as his and also get his broken stone back from Sunday which he used to transform. Also from the clip where Diamond threw a bunch of gems, looks like there's Diamond, Jade, Aventurine, Topaz, Sapphire, Amethyst, Emerald, and another stone that looks like a Diamond but is probably some variation of Quartz. Not sure what the last two could but, but likely one of them is a Ruby.
  • @Ingydar_
"Kavashka" ๐Ÿ˜ญ not another YouTuber butchering Aventurine's native name
  • @Ordell1991
I ever bought Jade jewelry stone but the seller even failed to recognize that he actually sell aventurine stone instead. This is the same problem with moonstone and opal stone. People got it wrong or fake jewelry stone and purchase it with high price only to get low than AAA quality. So please. Do not be suprise if IPC manager related with the stone. Even in real world, those stones trade with high price. The higher quality, the higher the price. --- When Sunday make a lot of questions to Aventurine, I think he got some doubts and proven to be true. He is not the only one who come to Penacony. Aventurine call Topaz for help. Who knows if also call Jade as well. That is what Topaz said, *Never Trust Aventurine*. When he is doing business, he will do anyting to achibe goals. Same as Topaz but Aventurine way is too risky. He is the guy who will even sacrifice his life as chip just to win. He never care about it cause he is a survivor. I think that is why Diamond choose him as senior manager under him/her. Topaz reminds me with Sagitarius sister while Aventurine reminds me with Aries brother. They both are my siblings but different than me. I will never take high risk for high return. Topaz is smart woman, confident, optimistic, independent, hard working, passionate, creative and kind. That is why reminds me with sister. Aventurine is a smart man, strong heart, fiery, wild, self-centered, passionate, charming, ambitious. So that is why I think both of them can work together. He call Topaz for help and she knows it is too big for him alone. That is why she come and follow the plan. Topaz and Jade are strong and independent but also feminine and loving. That is what I think about both of them. Remember aven's sister always mention. So aven may like woman that is like his sister.

The IPC is basically the IMF, lobbying vulnerable countries to take on massive loans, and then effectively taking over and dictating their policies once they fail to pay; that's what the Jarilo-VI continuance mission is essentially about. Not too surprising considering this is a Chinese game. Regarding Aventurine: His Cornerstone ceases to shine after Acheron "kills" him, so I think that's meant to be read as him no longer being under their influence, which was perhaps something he was hoping to accomplish all along.

Bro has children and is still downbad for jade. "What contract do i have to sign to work beside her?"
