This is a lovely town. We visited in February just before the floods really took hold. You had all that and then the Covid drama. I wish you all the best. Hope to visit sometime in October. Love the charming video and relaxing music. 👍🙂

My birth town. I miss it so very much. So many memories of a carefree youth. Every street evokes memories of parents, grandparents, friends and lovers. As the song goes: Time goes by, And every single tear it must have well run dry, And the lonely nights become a strange accepted way. And the years go past; like the old song says: The pain with time has healed, it couldn't last. And then a friend, like a fool, mentions your name... Sunny days, drunken nights, You smile and say It's all right. But oh the cold, cold rain, At the mention of your name. Forgive me please If I shrug my shoulders, When I put my friends at ease, As I get older. It's not that I don't feel colder than before. Oh I've become so good at hiding, What I feel without confiding. It's still the same, darling still the same, At the mention of your name.

So lovely. Yes I saw Scrooge’s “grave”. Funny how some people think a film makes a city notable when actually the reverse is true.
