I’ve been a silent follower for years, probably over a decade. I just want to say how refreshing it has been to go through the stages of life with you. From high school and getting ready along with your makeup tutorials to now being an adult and watching you as I get ready for work in the morning. It makes me feel so happy to see your videos Blair! You and Elle were my comfort when I was going through some really rough years. I’ve been watching you from the very beginning and it’s so amazing to see you grow into this beautiful, content person. You feel so calm and self assured in these recent videos compared to your older content (which makes total sense, we all grow and mature throughout our life!), and it is so wonderful to see! Hope you’re having a lovely summer!

The thing I find most refreshing about you is that you were so all in on the beauty guru/influencer life, one of the first to start a business through your success and just paved the way for so many YouTubers, yet you were able to take a step back and assess your own happiness and make a complete 180 and reroute your life. I think so many YouTubers linger and make content they’re not excited about or invested in because they can’t see the path to shifting away from it, and I think it’s really admirable how you did it. Also I showed my friend your college at 26 video. She’s 29 and thinking about college and I’ve been telling her I think it’s so great to go when you’re a bit older because you’re more invested in it and you’ve taken the time to consider if it’s actually what you wanted, vs so many people who go fresh out of high school just because it’s expected of them and they take it for granted. But when you’re more mature, you appreciate the value of it and the investment you’re making in yourself
