The door wedge is especially handy. I've been in a hotel room that got double-booked (twice!) and a had a stranger let himself into the room with a duplicate key.

Thank you - all of those flights I've taken - I could have used the brightly colored rope tied to the bag. That would be especially good when everyone else has B4 and duffel bags, too. Love your kit overall and think anyone would give you an A+

All I ever bring nowadays when I travel by air is a storm whistle and a flashlight. I wish I could bring a lot more but I donβt like checking in my bags. Nice set of preps to have when traveling, Sarge!

π Great video tips. I would add one suggestion... since legroom is so very tight, it's almost impossible to retrieve stuff from your bag that's underneath the seat in front of you... Suggestion..... pack into the carry-on/personal item either a small shopping bag or cheap collapsable $ storebag with stuff you need immediately on the plane... ie watee bottle,candy bars/food, flashlight,hand sanitizer, wipes for the tray and handrests, magazine, battery pack, etc...
