I bet a periodic "What's In My Sling" feature would be fun! A good way to spotlight the Pack Hacker crew that isn't usually on camera, too.
  • I love my black Gore-Tex messinger bag for EDC. Fully zipped and clipped, external water bottle holder, w shoulder and hip belt (both removable). And..., it comes with a handle so I can carry as a soft briefcase. Extremely light, tough, expandable.

For me a sling is more about not LOSING my stuff once im home. I haven't gotten yelled at for leaving a chap stick in my pocket when it went through the wash, and I no longer lose my keys in the house. It keeps my normal pocket essentials together for quick store runs and i can easily carry a granola bar or two for my kids and an emergency diaper for my toddler without needing a full backpack just to go to the park.

The wallet is a game-changer! I got mine about a year ago and I have not looked at other wallets since. Plus, it survived a wash cycle intact – talk about durability! Can't imagine going back to my old one!

After watching so many of your videos, I finally went on my first 4-day-city trip with a backpack. Obviously my system is still in dire need of improvement. 😂 I packed most things into a 30l backpack. I didn't stuff it to the brim. Used the straps to make it more "compact". As "personal item" I took my Kanken backpack which also served as EDC. On top of that, I put the uniqlo sling so I could have my valuables near me as it was a city trip. Overall, I used almost all items I packed apart from the medical emergency items. 😅

I bought one of the TomToc Slings, the smaller one made of Xpac. I didn't like it. I put the stuff in i wanted to carry, it wasnt much, phone, keys, wallet etc and it felt so heavy and big. I stuff my stuff back into my EastPak The One and it was small and fine. I reckon the bag had too much padding and dividers and such for me, felt like i was carrying more bag than stuff. 🤣

Do you have a link to the suction cup for the anker charger?
  • @itsmattaitken
I have the tomtoc sling but that little aer product is nice! The strap and how it sits on your pack. Stop selling me stuff :D

For ear plugs, I like the Happy Ears plugs as they reusable, snug fit, and blocks out sound effortlessly. Great for long flights or long naps at noisy places
  • @ggs0605
I like the Pacsafe slings and gear. The Peak Design stuff is also top notch!
  • @migievlogs2411
Nice wallet....segway...saw those Peso bills...Shoutout from Manila!
  • @gtsumoto
3:50 something useful I discovered while using AER slings. AirTags fit snug behind their logo tag inside of the sling. 😉
  • @stevefeinstein
Nomatic refillable travel spray vial seems to be discontinued. Know of a good replacement?
  • @marcbalgavy6579
Perhaps I’ve missed the discussion in previous videos, but what do you carry in the pockets of your pants/shorts?
  • @markpuffer9615
I aleays like to carry a small flashlight. My fav for planes are the squeeze lights. I hook mine to an old neck lanyard to wear.
  • @brochg
Hi Tom! Did the Day Sling 3 bump out the Bellroy as your favorite?
