Question from Mike: Do you buy physical albums still (Vinyl/CDs)? Or do you stick mainly to streaming?
  • @KB24FOREVER8
watching your father become a rap fan in real time is dope. recognizing and appreciating beat switches, bars, and irregularities within a rapper's flow and he's only 2 albums in. lot of potential here.
  • Really think your Dad is gonna dig Tyler and his artistry. Excited for wherever this journey takes you two. I got emotional with him after "u" in the TPAB reaction. Absolutely love seeing the older generation start to get a peek at what hip hop is really about.

Your dad hit it on the nail at 9:25 Tyler made this album because he said before this he never really had people recite his lyrics back to him in his shows. He made this album with a lot of melodies and catchy hooks to have people remember the lines and sing back his songs to him. I definitely wasn’t a huge fan of Tyler before this album but hearing this album and especially after finding that out, gave me a new found respect for Tyler as an artist.

Great choice for a second hip hop album to introduce him to! Looking forward to this. (Still vouching for Sometimes I Might Be Introvert in a future video)

I’ve been loving these videos recently! really makes me smile when they turn up in my feed.
  • @alphamatics
seeing people discover music that i love is such a joy to me, keep doing what you are doing guys
  • These dad/mom reactions are adorable cause it really lets them into your world and gets to know you more. This is the connection we need with our children
  • love that your dad picked up on a lot of the more subtle things layered in this album, new sub!
  • I’ve been watching you and your dad for the little bit that you guys have been on here so far since that first video. You guys create such a nice joyful atmosphere around the music and love hearing the discussion of these albums (great selections so far by the way) between two generations. It’s great conversation and insightful. I just know from the style/aesthetic/atmosphere you have conjured in this short time, you guys are going to grow fast in the music community! Was honestly surprised you guys didn’t have 100k subs when I first discovered you guys. Keep everything up!

Dude this was a sick reaction loved that y’all enjoy the artistry
  • This was a great album for him to listen to, I remember when this album dropped and after the first two tracks, realizing how big of a shift in direction Tyler was taking at that point in his career. Would love for y’all to film a reaction to Circles or Common’s Be
  • @mudaimusic

Glad pops is digging rap music. I LOVE TO SEE IT! :) my dad is similar to your dad in music taste. Has a wide variety from music in his days but never liked rap music. We bond on music as well but mostly on the stuff he knows. I’d love to sit down on do something similar to this setting with him. I have showed him some rap songs he has ended up liking as well so that would be a great way to bond with my father
  • @julianleft4662
Damn. I'm curious how Frank Ocean - Blond will land. I feel like he's going to really like that album.
  • @lmaologi
gotta do blond next man, he’ll go crazyyy
  • LOL... So I was just getting into the start of this video and about halfway through the intro track I thought to myself, "It's just a matter of time before he hits Pops with a Frank Ocean record and that would be dope." Then not even 2 minutes later y'all had that little dialogue about that exact thing. I'm already picking out what type of popcorn I want to have for that one. Y'all are doling a really cool thing here fellas and I really appreciate you sharing your time and your energies.

I wish my parents were this open to listen to new music like your dad is
