The Israeli prime minister intended to rally support for the war against Hamas in Gaza, but was marked by pro-Palestinian protests inside and outside the Capitol.
The Israeli leader received a raucous reception from mostly Republican politicians as he delivered a speech to a joint session of Congress, his fourth.
In contrast, Nancy Pelosi, a Democrat, and the former Speaker of the US House of Representatives, criticised the address in a post on X.
