  • I see a few comments asking about the possibility that the “temple” where the “abomination of desolation” takes place is actually the church because we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Some see this as necessary because they think we can’t have a temple in Jerusalem that is considered God’s temple at the same time as having the body of Christ who is the temple. Here’s my response to that. I think that you can have a temple in Jerusalem without it threatening our status as the temple of God. Certainly this was the case in the book of Acts. The apostles even partook in sacrifices in that temple. Those sacrifices weren’t a problem except when done in rejection of God but the temple was still the temple. Even a Preterist would have to affirm that because they see the abomination of desolation taking place in the physical temple of Jerusalem while affirming we are the ultimate temple of the Holy Spirit. I suppose you could just say the abomination of desolation is ONLY fulfilled in the body of Christ but then it seems quite odd that Mark 13 and Matthew 24 have it in response to a question about the physical destruction of the temple in Jerusalem.
  • Former Mormon here. You have helped me beyond words to understand the Bible correctly. God bless Mike Winger. Thank you.
  • Ex-JW, ex-Heroin addict atheist, ex-New Age occultist - MIke, you were one of the helpers who carried me to the true God. Thank you for lighting my path. Thank you for doing the work of The Lord. We may not always agree, but you helped me, in conjunction with the grace of God, to build my faith and see a clearer, realer, more genuine outline of who God is and what his plan is for the future. Thank you my Brother. WIth all those 'exes' in my past story, I have so much to deprogram and toss in the trash can. I still have a a lot of baggage in my head that I'm working through, but this channel has been one very helpful tool that I have tapped into.
  • You have a cat randomly walking in and out. That's a nice touch
  • I thank God for how He wired you and your teaching gift. I have been studying the Word of God for 40 years always seeking the truth with the Holy Spirit. Discussing and growing disciples one on one. Still humbly growing through studying His word! I agree with all you are teaching and so happy you are teaching at such at time as this… all Glory to God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit… for your humble teaching from all sides but always show the truth shinning through. May you and your family be covered and blessed to continue this ministry of teaching.👏🏻🙏🏼👏🏻
  • I LOVE studying Biblical eschatology. When I wasn't saved, but knew about God, I was scared of the end. Now that I'm saved, I always look forward to hearing about the end.
  • Hey Pastor Mike, I just wanted to say Thank You for all of your hard work and dedication to the WORD. I have grown and learned so much from listening to your teachings! You are truly a blessing!!! Keep it up brother!!

I have honestly thought about the “why” these important passages matter, in not that we should only just be looking for these signs, but to make ourselves ready for the coming of the Lord, in which your statement at the end I completely agree. Please pray for myself and all the believers to hold fast to the true teachings in the Bible and be active and intentional in serving out the purpose that we were created for.
  • Amen! Thank you for all your dedication and hard work in bringing us God’s Truth from Hs Perfect WORD! I really enjoy your humor, sarcasm, and wit and how you always do so with a loving, non judgmental way! It is a true pleasure to study God’s WORD with you! Continue to be blessed for you are a blessing indeed!

I have lurning difficultes I struggle to understand things I believe in God and Jesus, I ask God to help me through the holy spirit to help me understand I think if I don't know everything if I can just do write by God and fallow him, but I am hungry for the word
  • We never get sound teachings like this in church. Just entertainment and emotional babble. You prove that Christianity can be intellectually engaging.
  • So in depth, I need to rewatch a couple of time while taking notes! Great study, and comforts me that the Lord is exact in what He says. I look forward to the days of His arrival, His Love, His Mercies, His Grace, His Judgement, His Power, His Awe, His Majesty. Glory to God.
  • Thank you Mike from New Zealand. I appreciate you and your inspired, concise teaching. God bless you and guide you as you stay close to Him.
  • I love listening to you teach. You have such a heart for Jesus and a way for articulating these tough questions that we believers (And non believers) may have. Yours is such a fruitful ministry!
  • Fascinating stuff. Thanks for all your hard work on these teaching vids, Mike!
  • @kross2143
Love how you wrapped this up ~ the struggle we have in two areas. Comforts and pleasures that cause complacency and love of the world, and difficulties and pressure to conform to the world to avoid persecution, and question God’s plan and goodness. I may have embellished a little. I always think about the 2 doctrinal pitfalls of legalism and lawlessness, but I love this more practical application on overcoming and staying true to Jesus.
  • Thank you so much. I am new to this, and I am trying to understand everything. I feel that I am not going to have enough time to learn all that I need to know. I only know that I truly want to love as Jesus loved.
  • @AirChurch
Thank you Mike for this extremely informative presentation. Glory to God.
  • @naojm
Love watching your videos. Simple, straightforward and to the point. I'm learning. Stay Blessed!
  • I love the way you gave all the info and views that leaves the lord to reveal it to whom he will. Please continue this way God bless
