This is another example of media asking dems to work with republicans, they never ask repubs if they’ll work with dems.
  • @Demode_Elf
She didn't say she was pledging she said she would consider it. Please stop trying to create a narrative where there is none.

Pledge??? She never made a pledge to appoint a Republican!! She said she’d CONSIDER it! Get it straight!
  • @pchan232
Why are you asking if she will put a R on her cabinet? Did you EVER ask Trump that question??
  • @grantfaulkner5371
It wasn’t a pledge to put a Republican in cabinet, she would consider it.

How about CNN turned an "I would appoint a Republican to my cabinet" into "she pledged to appoint a Republican to her cabinet" within seconds, and are already repeating it. Jesus, y'all. This is just ridiculous.

What an embarrassing effort by Dana Bash. This was expected.
  • @andrehightower9818
How is a candidate saying they would appoint a Republican to their cabinet a "pledge"? It just means that she would be open to the option...🤷🏾‍♂️

Correction: Chuck Hagel was never a Democratic Senator. He did not serve in the George W. Bush administration. He was a Republican Senator and served as Secretary of Defense in the Obama administration. Norman Minetta, a Democrat, served in the George W. Bush administration as Transportation Secretary. Further, William Cohen, a Republican, served as Defense Secretary in the Clinton Administration. It has been the norm since at least the Clinton administration to have a member of the Cabinet be a member of a different party as the President.

Who cares about a pledge she did not do or say ! Good God do your job ! Stop putting words in her mouth ! She didn’t promise ! 😅
  • @dellabox
So disappointing... She never said she would do it. She said that she would consider it. Shame on CNN
  • @solonbriggs9439
She didn't pledge to have a Republican She said she would consider having a Republic.

She did not promise to put a republican in her cabinet. She said she would consider it. Such bad reporting. Is it possible you’re looking for a job at Fox? That’ll look good on that resume.
  • Harris did not PLEDGE to do anything. She said she would appoint a republican not that she will. Dont make it a big deal
  • @kleenmary7060
It’s not news if you change what she said. She did not pledge to add a Republican to her cabinet and shame on you for putting that out there. I think it would be a good idea but when you wonder why she waited to talk to the press, This is why! How are we supposed to defend our sources when our sources are this damned sloppy?!

Why is wanting diversity and the best minds and hearts in the cabinet a Campaign strategy? That just is smart.
  • @cousinevey
I want someone to ask Tramp if he would nominate a DEMOCRAT to his Cabinet 😁
