Phantom Manor (exterior atmosphere) at Disneyland Paris

Published 2014-07-02
The Music Box version of Grim Grinning Ghosts from Phantom Manor's soundtrack, accompanies this video of Disneyland Paris' take on The Haunted Mansion. Inside this victorian house on a hill is a 6-minute dark ride, where a chain of Omnimover vehicles take guests through spectacularly spooky scenes populated with 92 animatronic ghosts.

📚 Phantom Manor's fully orchestrated score was composed by John Debney, who also composed the music for the 2010 film Iron Man 2.

📷 I shot this video on Sunday 22 June 2014, at around 9.20 PM, using a Sony DSC-RX100 camera hand-held. I spent about 33 minutes in the queue (even though there wasn't one) doing nothing but getting all the shots for this video. I edited it in iMovie 9.0.9.

This enchanting music was composed by acclaimed film composer John Debney ("Passion of the Christ") for the Phantom Manor. He actually grew up being at Disneyland as a kid because his parents worked there, reportedly. He also studied music at California Institute of the Arts, or Cal Arts, in Santa Clarita, CA that was created by Walt Disney. It's considered one of the best art schools in the world. In fact a great many Disney animators come out of that school including Tim Burton...

The black and white did nothing for the video. It's a nice video, but you should re-upload it in color. It would be better in color.
