ok but the thing that gets me is the way ernst says "oh god" because he can tell it's gonna be a wild and gay ride. also when ernst kisses hanschen and then quickly realizes that he is, in fact, gay

i Love how they slightly shifted the timing of the kisses! 'Oh god' before the first kiss? Already absolutely brilliant. But making it so Ernst initiated the second kiss to alleviate Hans' concern?? That's like. galaxy brain shit DWSA will forever hold a very special place in my heart but i think creative liberties in this performance make it close second, if not perhaps even the first

I LOVE the fact that their first kiss was quick, it makes it feel real, as usually first kisses are just like that. Honestly, i love this version aaah-

I love the actors chemistry! Also love the balance of sweet and comedic Most versions just go for one or the other, this was a good integration

I love this version because it’s funny but it’s not made into a JOKE also they can both sing really well and have obviously done there character homework. You have made a VERY picky SA fan VERY happy tips fedora

Oh. My. God. I can't get over the argentinian version (with Eliseo Barrionuevo as Hanschen and Leandro Bassano as Ernst) but I think I fell in love with this version too
