Marvel's Spider-Man was my 1st platinum ever. And I gotta say... the original Peter Parker (character model) is perfect.
-
Yeah I’ve beaten the 1st one 4 times and Miles Morales 3 times. Dude I STILL play it. I love just swinging around in both games. 😎👍🏼

I remember showing this game to my friends and one of them who's playing for the first time, got super hyped after swiging thru the huge billboards and started yelling like a mad man because of how awesome it was to control spider man, it was such a wholesome bro moment, I hope I have a ps5 when the 2nd one comes out

For the electric webs on the turrets, it seems like it's just so much easier to use L1+R1 to grab it and throw it. It's faster, you don't have to aim or use up gadget ammo, and you also get a weapon that you can throw at other enemies.

I still play both games to swing around the city for hours and hours, it’s so calming and fun.
-
One of the only games that would make me want to actually 100% everything + the DLC. It’s a masterpiece
-
Both Spider-Man and Miles Morales games are both awesome, loved playing both of them
-
Another detail about electric webs is use them if you're fighting enemies while it's raining and instant ko 😁 same if they are standing in water or a puddle
-
using the vintage comic book suit power during main missions unlocks new dialogue! this also works during car chases

Another cool thing in the first game is in the MJ mission at Grand Central. Every Let’s Player that I’ve seen so far hasn’t thought of it. But there’s a platform that turns you invisible when you step on it. When you’re sneaking around as MJ, it’s a lot of fun to lure demons towards you and then step on the cloaking platform. You can be right in front of them, and they’ll have no idea.

The boat people are actually just the unloaded version of npc's. On day one I got a lot of glitches but one was during that first mission where you sneak around as Miles, and for the first minute or so textures weren't loading and everyone around me was a boat person lmao

I love the Spider-Man games so much. It combines my love for superheroes and open world games, while also being rly high quality games overall in almost every respect. Platinumed both, but definitely considering replaying them before Spider-Man 2 drops

With the comicbook suit with the Quips suit power, most of the jokes are generic, but there are a bunch that are specific to certain enemies. i.e. If you use it when fighting Sable agents Spidey will make some jokes about Sable or Symkaria, if you use it when fighting Rykers escapees he will make jokes about prison or their orange jumpsuits, etc.

Love the game. One of the only couple games I have 100% completed
-
the swinging was super smooth
-
There’s a difference between mechanics and glitches
-
Swinging is so smooth. Combat is awesome. amazing game

On Spider-Man for PS1 there’s a basketball court you can score a basket and earn a max health. So cool!
-
I've been going back to ultimate Spider-Man, I wish they'd add a playable venom or symbiote suit again like spiderman 3

You can also shoot the sable guys with "electro-vests" (that resist spiderwebs) with the shock webs.
