In this video I go through 40 years of Spider-Man games to see just how much Spider-Man has changed. Starting in 1982 with Spider-Man on the Atari 2600 all the way to the newly released Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5. I played through every single of one of them including one game that completely changed my life forever.

Spider-Man has always been my favorite! The animated series was my first introduction. Thank you to all the developers and everyone else along the way that created these games and brought Spider-Man to life

Gotta say as a 56 year old gamer this is one of my favorite gaming videos and brought back a ton of Spidey memories, about to dive into Spider-Man 2, can't wait. Great job!

Did you play the Spider-Man game where you dress up in the suit and jump around your house pretending to shoot webs? No? Pssh. Unsubscribed :)

This video is really well done. Great job, man!
  • I played a Spider-Man game around 2013-2014, the one where you can swing around and collect the comic books. One of them I found actually brought a tear to my eye. It was the issue where Peter went to visit uncle bens grave and he was reminiscing his memories with him building snowmen and stuff like that… got me to my core 😮‍💨

Dude the ending with you talking about your dog and Spider-Man has me in tears. Great freaking video. New sub gained
  • Separation Anxiety is named after the comic arc. Venom got separated from Eddie because he didn't like being Venom and the Life Foundation was wreaking havoc. Both Venom movies covered the story kind of.

The last part of the video hit me. The night the first game released, I had a seizure. The night the second game released, I lost my childhood dog.

I wanted to give special thanks in particular to Insomniac for their incredible Spider-man games. Yeah they're critically acclaimed, and beloved by everyone (and Spider-man 2 seems to be no exception so far), but I really want to thank the team at Insomniac personally for building such incredible games that really truly helped my family get through an insanely hard time. Thank You <3 Video games are such a wonderful & powerful thing, and I'm hoping this video really articulates why they're so special. To all the hard working & talented people who've helped build any of these Spider-man games... Thank you for all the amazing memories you've given us <3 🕷🕸
