Tribute To Trooper

Trooper, our twelve years and 2 months old Yellow Lab, was adopted from SouthEastern Guide Dogs in September of 2012.
I didn't want to get another dog because of the painful experience I had with losing my previous puppy, Beau, at only nine years old.
But my wife insisted.... she knew something was not right with her.. Sure enough she succumbed to Parkinson's in 2017.... and I thank her quite often for giving me this precious gift.
He has been my Guardian Angel from the first day we picked him up. We will be together again.
Thanks to Wendy Lawrence, our sax player Frank's wife, for providing me with the photos of Trooper from our yearly Texas treks to Messina Hof Winery.

Labs are the best. Just wish they lived for 50 years. Morgan, Sam, Drake and Bodie. We love em all like children. He looked like an awesome buddy. When I die I hope the Rainbow Bridge is real. Would love to see all my old dogs and my dad again.

Nicely done. Trooper is a handsome, happy boy. You, Jo and Trooper shared quite a life together. A lot of love there. Be well.
