Here is how I see it. People who were gonna vote Trump, will vote Trump, it's given. People who were gonna vote for a democrat will vote for whoever is the democratic candidate. Here comes the difference. Will any of the new democratic picks is able to convince those, who either turned away from voting on Biden for one reason or another, or will the new nominee is able to convince more non-voters? That's what the new nominee has to do, otherwise we are back in the same foot print where Biden was.
