I just love this trend, seeing other people waste their money keeps me from doing it because I can just vicariously enjoy this nonsense

honestly the automatic tap thing is probably rly useful for people who can't lift heavy things (jugs of milk) or for kids so they don't spill milk/juice/etc

I love how he's totally into the turtle shell when it's definitely not what he ordered

The ladle with the fat separator is for Chinese hot pot! It wouldn't remove fat from regular soup, but hot pot soup has fat gather on the top that needs to be skimmed out. We just use a spoon at my house and it can get messy, a ladle like that would actually be super useful.

The turtle shell was absolutely a bit of a scam - the video makes it look like a huge bed that you can wear, kinda like a bean bag, but on Jarvis it was just a costume. Glad he liked it though, even if I was lowkey hoping it was legit so I could get one myself.

The drink tap thing could've been useful for people who can't lift heavy milk jugs and such, but if the batteries don't go in/out easily then there's no point

"im a bit of a detective in that way" Refuses to watch back the footage of what he bought for reference

For anyone wondering, Jarvis didn't get scammed on the comically small ice cube tray he just picked the wrong option on the page

The automatic pourer looks good for people with disabilities/elderly/ect. A lot of the 'weird devices' people mock/not see the use in tend to be aids for people. Cause they often get rebranded as nifty gadgets.

The butt-shaped scrubber is great for people with limited range of motion in their arms, and possible grip strength issues. It's always great to be able to get disability aids that aren't dull looking

my sister used to use one of those electric milk dispensers when my niece was a baby. it was pretty helpful since lifting a whole gallon of milk isn't always feasible in a household of variously disabled folks, but ultimately the batteries went too quickly and it got gross really easily.

Honestly there was something incredibly funny about Jarvis accidentally getting convinced to just buy a regular ladle.

I love that he said ima review these things but I will NOT look back to see what they're supposed to do. It adds a fun layer of mystery for him

I'm getting such a weird uncanny valley feeling from seeing jarvis doing anything other than sitting down
  • @xinvader_iceex
Dipper blissfully chewing on ice while Jarvis is losing his mind laughing at the comically small ice tray is amazing
  • @kaifisshhh
The cut from jarvis laughing his ass off at the purchase he’s going to make to him two months later staring down at a compressed turtle shell like “what the fuck is this” is pure gold

that drink pourer/straw thing was probably originally made for people with disabilities who might not be able to lift a gallon of milk on their own, but was marketed to everyone in order to keep it affordable and accessible. Like that weird battery powered fork that spins with the press of a button, or even snuggies.
