Will Rise shine at the RLCS World Championship?

Rise has simultaneously bounced around the RLCS and cemented himself as one of the current greats in the League.

This season, Rise joined the handpicked super hero squad of Karmine Corp (with Atow, Vatira, and Ferra) set on taking the World by storm. After a hot start, KC suffered an agonizing defeat in missing a Main Event.

This crushed their hopes of participating in the 2nd Major of the season in London. With their sights still set on greatness, Rise looks to help lead this KC squad back into contention with the best in the World.

Will he put another exceptional feather in his decorated cap, or go back to the drawing board this offseason? Time will tell...

Who should we watch next? Thanks for watching :)

Rise is a great one to analyze. He’s the best team player. Can learn a lot watching him, how he cuts rotations so well & always has a creative approach to set his t8ms up for shots. Also has the flashy mechs to make a big solo play.

“inform their nerves.” it’s the vernacular 😮‍💨

Lots of contenders for this Worlds. I think top 4 could be some combo of G2/KC/GM8s/Falcons/Furia, BDS and VIT have been trending downward so they could be 5th/7th, which is also where I'd put GenG and probably SSG. All comes down to who plays better on the day. Curious to see KC's revenge arc clash with the other French teams, Falcons hungry for a win in a grand finals, G2 continuing their streak of GFs appearances, etc. NA's hopium rests pretty squarely on G2's shoulders but I think the other NA teams will take names.

14:45 MASSIVE AGREEMENT. I wanted to get that out of the way bc I'm about to contradict u a lot... 14:56 where my disagreement began u might've actually done a great job saying both landon and london...so nevermind but I know for certain I disagree later on naw pretty sure you're saying london... 15:23 ok this is the main point of contention. let's rewind to 15:02 this might've been nothing but it looked threatening. rise gains an amateurish mindset of not respecting the opponent's attack. he was just in the goal and the ball was blasted over his head to his team's advantage. there was an uncontested shot that certainly should've been more consequential if it was bar down (even if it didn't score). 15:21 there is the threat of a bump that doesn't manifest, more reassurance that the opponent is not menacing but not actually dangerous. meanwhile down the pitch oski has an insanely quickly developing shot off the ceiling into a reset. 15:22 atow is up for no reason. at this point in the analysis I no longer disagree with you. atow is a major distraction, wasting boost and causing a delay in realization from rise. miscalculation ensues. 15:23 it is already (nigh) too late to win this challenge. oski is wrapping around the outside of the ball to crush the 50 into the goal. for a split second there is separation between oski and the ball. a prejump would've been necessary. rise's trajectory entering the challenge is to intercept at a point beyond what is salvageable. he also feathers his boost, perhaps knowing that the challenge is too little too late. the prejump might've happened without atow in the background. in a prejump meeting the ball slightly after the moment of separation, I think a challenge could've saved the shot off the backwall. oski was almost beneath the ball during separation but at the dunk he was in a dominant position on top. the challenge followed the trajectory of the ball when it needed to contradict it more directly. rise was on almost full boost making a save to be expected, if there weren't 2 great distractions (bump & atow). in summation false confidence going into the play, a demo threat from the bottom left splitting focus away from the play developing down field, and atow wasting resources nonsensically / randomly, all add up to support your claim "nothing you can do about that" especially since it's already happened and the winning mentality is not to write a wall of text containing dubious metanalysis but to focus on the next kickoff.

lol the play to end the vid was a defensive blunder. panic from the entire team oxygen. I see 99.999% of goals as defensive blunders though LMFAO!
