Wow, great response! Humble yet truthful! Definitely not easy!
  • Considering he blew his own brains out to avoid being brought to justice by the Allies, I'd lay odds against him having sought Salvation before he died, and I doubt even more that he'd even recognise the offer of such after he died. I may be wrong, but I think if anyone is in hell, it's him.

Never understood the hell concept. If the Devil is the boss of hell. Why would he be punishing evil people in hell he should be happy to have them.its all nonsense. Wake up !

I've also heard that if you die in sin you may wander into heaven but not recognize where you are.

That's a foolish question! Hitler is in hell!

Simple answer really is No he's not, he's dead...he won't be in Hell either...these are fictional places. This does raise an interesting issue for religion though. If thiests think he is in heaven it has to pull into question the justice provided by a forgiving entity that would allow this, yet if they think he is in hell, is infinite torture morally right? or indeed possible for forgiving god to allow?

I don’t know where he is but I do know that he had to feel all the pain he caused during his life on earth.

I have heard a precher saying he saw Hitler in heaven He was in hell before he was sent to heaven. I forget name of that precher.
  • Human evil is a very complex condition - a condition of the mind. Evil actions are an extreme form of anti-social behaviour and always have a deep root in the mind of the perpetrator. Hitler was amoral rather than immoral, meaning that he believed in the necessity of committing overtly evil acts in order to achieve a 'greater good', a 'holy grail', so to speak, which would be his idealized world after victory. All extreme ideologies work in the same way, communism and fundamentalist Islamism as well.

I don't believe in hell and I'm not sure heaven exists.

Initially I was expecting a video directly tackling whether Hitler is in heaven or not. Although this video didn't directly seem to deal with Hitler's salvation or otherwise, there is some true value gained in saying would others with different theology to us be in heaven, and the recognition that opposing valid views on theology can basically co-exist. I found that idea timely with my own theology. So thank you. I've had a lot of existential concern lately about if churches can teach doctrines or take stances that are in opposition to straightforwardly applied scriptural Christianity. This is a concern as I come into contact with people from the Methodist GB Church, and others from more fundamentalist style churches and others from Anglican etc. Can I fellowship, or accept teaching from someone who holds the Bible to be informative but not authorative? That is my dilemma, and this video helped me a little with that. So thank you.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
