The Kemple family invited us to their home for dinner. I was shown Shawn's Star Wars collection and I immediately asked if I could film a mini-documentary. Shawn laughed and obliged. I originally planned to film a piece for a Spanish Fork 17 project but it did not come to fruition. A year or so after filming, I knew I had to finish the project - no matter how long the final running time would become.

During post-production my brain constantly scolded me for leaving in the footage involving focusing, panning, setting up a shot, etc. But my heart ignored those urgings and I believe the story, in all its rawness, is very informative and engaging.
