The best part of cooking for yourself is you get to choose what to eat based on your own personal favorites and food hang ups. So while this is definitely not the loaded baked potato of my dreams, but hey, if it’s yours, absolutely go for it and enjoy! We should all eat what we love, especially when we need the comfort of carbs and cheese.

4:30 So one trick that helps me melt the cheese is to wrap the potato in foil for a few minutes to keep the halves together and insulate the heat. Probably don’t need to do with bigger potatoes, but I thought random comment readers would appreciate the tip if they’re trying this at home.

Hell yeah, that looks american 😂 We also had baked potato today...topped with sour cream, some herbs from the garden, green onions and radish. For germany, this was pretty 'loaded'
