This matter should not be on any form of social media platform. Period.

She has a deep resentment for Rickey. She needs to deal with how she feels. Social media is not the place for healing in life or death.
  • Stumbled across this video, and it’s even more days that Brandon is gone now. No matter how hard we try to save someone, they have to want to be saved. 🙏🏽😭💔prayers for all who’ve went through this tragic loss of a child..

If he committed suicide over a hair cut there was other deeper issues.

This is the exact reason why some celebrities stay away from their family. People always try to so called “expose” somebody. 👀

If he took pills because he had to cut his dreds off, he was already battling some other issues! I'm still sorry for your loss.

Ron was a good friend of mine, I am just learning of his death and I feel like a bad friend for not answering his calls. He definitely was trying to change his life, this hurts because he pitched so many business ideas to me, and I didn't take it serious. I had no idea he was battling something. I met Ron in College at Miles in 2005. We kept in touch after college. My condolences 🙏🏾
  • I feel what Ricky’s is saying! I have put my own biological daughter out for choices and decisions she was making that could have jeopardized not only her life but the entire family! I’m praising and thanking the Lord she changed her ways and got back on track!!!
  • Sounds to me like Ricky was trying to shine a light on a young man that was in a dark place.

She is grieving. Ricky is grieving. Ricky you don't need to explain anything to us. Praying for healing.
  • Iron sharpen iron❤️. Rickey I stumbled across this video tonight. Thank you for this. A year later this video is making a difference. As a mother of two sons and a daughter, I detected no lies. You said many things that stung. I had to scrunch up my toes. Cause you stepped all over them. And I thank you. My condolences to you and your family in this present time of despair for yall❤

The fact that the young lady thinks a haircut was the cause of his death is one of the main reasons why fathers like Rickey are needed in every household. Lack of tough love, discipline, accountability, guidance & absentee fathers are few of the reasons why sons/ young men and male adults are lost, soft & too goddamn emotional like females.
  • “Sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone in order to grow!”
  • @jaywro3
We have got to start allowing grown folks to be accountable for their decisions. If the possibility of a hair cut triggered your brother, then he obviously had bigger issues.
  • @jadamsjr_
Salute Ricky. People like you are a rarity.
  • I'm sorry for your lost. Thank you Ricky for trying to help the young man.
  • @611mellissa
You know the sad thing is that it's always that family member who blames someone for what went wrong. I'm sure that child had bigger issues than this. A haircut doesn't make someone killed themselves.

It's a shame that we quick to talk to a camera about family matters instead of speaking to the person directly. It don't solve nothing just makes things worst.
  • Wow - it was a message in this video and as a mother with two young sons (22 & 24), I GOT IT. Thank you Mr. Smokey❣️ My deepest condolences to you and your family.

This brought me to tears. Loved the “life tribute”. The negativity turned to positive. ❤️
