CONTROVERSIAL NEW WHEELS! Switch Up for My BMW 1M Shmeemobile

Having bought the BMW 1 Series M Coupe last year, it was the cheapest in the country with 94,000 miles and fortunately not too much hiding under the skin. However, like with my Clio V6, we're going to turn it into something mega and so far that has included a full inspection and service, installing a Droid UK infotainment system, and most recently a Quaife ATB Differential at Birds - which thankfully fixed the clunking issue we had beneath.
Up next comes a visual change in the form of the wheels. Up to this point the car has been running on a set of tyres from 2016 which absolutely had to be replaced. Given this need to take them all off anyway, a quick two plus two became four, and we're at Whoops to get them repainted. An obvious choice might be to go gloss black, or something really out there to match the Valencia Orange bodywork, or perhaps, the choice I've gone for...
A colour I really like is Porsche's Neodyme gold, and that's exactly what we've done! However, there's a bit of twist to give them a different finish to standard. I'm over the moon with the result, although it'll be interesting to hear your feedback as choices like this are always immensely personal and opinionated.

The wheel paint is gorgeous but that does not go well with the car color, should've kept it as is. But hey, to each their own.

Wheels are nice no doubt but it doesn't match well with Valencia orange.

That color really POPS! Iāll never be a fan of black wheels as I believe wheels should stand out and be a feature of the car, not hidden in the shadows. I always love the difference color combinations you do with your cars! Itās very refreshing and inspiring. Also I think matching the other details to the wheels would really tie it all together

Preferred the silver since I feel that color goes better with the burnt orange but heyā¦tastes differ. Experience has taught me that sometimes I just need more time to get used to it. Thanks for taking us thru the process,

I'm assuming you're gonna wrap the car in black or something, cause it's obvious those wheels don't look good with orange (and orange is my favorite color, love the 296)
