GO BIG OR GO HOME! New QUICKSILVER GT LM Exhaust for the Ford GT Shmeemobile

Last year, we installed a QuickSilver Special Projects exhaust system that was developed using my very car, made from inconel and weighing only 5.4kg. Since then, QuickSilver's demand for Ford GT exhausts has increased dramatically so as a result, the team have gone even further and created a "V2" offering with 3D printed inconel exhaust tips with a GT LM style design. The new system maintains the weight reduction despite additional heat shielding - which also carries an OEM look under the car - while helping to reduce temperatures.
Ford produced a limited edition of the GT, named the GT LM, to pay tribute to the Le Mans racing history and success, but for European cars they were delivered with standard exhausts and not the special offerings available in the United States and other regions. Naturally, demand from customers arrived to create something of that nature, and with so many amazing links and connections of my own car to the heritage and past, it's a no brainer to upgrade to the latest offering.
The Shmeemobiles are all about their memories, and the Ford GT is absolutely top of the list. After visiting the US for a massive tour back in 2019, we fast forward 5 years later, and it's time to head over again! First up will be a tour to Texas and joining the GT1 Sports Club for an outing at Circuit of the Americas before plenty more fun ahead.

Haha, nice to see you in my childhood stomping ground Tim, you drove past my old nursery school, my best mates secondary school, and two of my old childhood homes in a very short stretch of road! I live about three miles down the road from where you joined the A3 on your way home. It’s epic to think my old stomping ground has had the gt do a fly by - of course, towers given clearance!

Tim the Ford GT is the most amazing car you have? In my opinion. Everything about this amazing car is perfect, from the amazing livery to the ridiculous overall spec. The exhaust looks and sounds amazing! I can only hope to catch a glimpse & listen of it if you end up in the NYC/Long Island area during your tour! I was not a fan of the Ford GT when it first came out, but I have warmed up to it over time and seeing you with yours has actually made it one of my favorite super cars.
