  • I love Bette Davis, she is so strong and intelligent, even though she was quite frail at this point,....she is so beautiful.❤️❤️

Terrific, precious interview. Classy ladies, both of them!

Thank you so very much for sharing this! Bette Davis is and will always be the most talented actress of all time! Her talent is missed in today's world, but thank God she left us with her films to watch over and over!

🌈I am grateful to find new material with the brilliant Betty Davis no matter who she is with… Of course, some of the questions are not pertinent to anything except plain curiosity. I would rather hear her tell stories of her past, with other famous people, but her viewpoint on many subjects is always well explained and thought out. A brilliant, brave woman for her time and somebody we can all cherish.😘
  • GREAT interviewer and really good, different and intelligent interview. Better than most Bette Davis was exposed to. Very interesting indeed 💚
  • Bette Davis eyes...what a beautyfull actrice and person ❤❤🙏🏿

This is one of the best interviews of Bette in her later years - many people seem annoyed by it but this was so refreshing - hearing very different questions and a more conversational style. We hear a very different Bette here but the stalwart fans moaning would rather just hear rehashes of Carson style interviews with her which over the decades had precisely the same questions every time. This was delightful to watch. And for those moaning about star signs - Bette was into this!!!

Bette Davis triumphed over so many obstacles in her later life (the stroke, mastectomy, broken hip, and -most hurtful- the book written by the daughter she loved above all else) that you can't help but be overcome with admiration at her strength and tenacity. "This 'n That" is written in Davis's unique voice: sometimes bitter, often funny, and always inspirational.

What a horrible interview that was. I felt sorry for Bette having to sit and listen to that woman continue on questioning her from some astrology book.
  • If I had been Davis, I'd have been bored to the point of saying so. She was a class act for not going there.

It's amazing how frail, yet sharp she is here. One of the very greatest ever 💖
  • I'm a Capricorn and I don't need any men to look after me.

Whoa, the old leather handbag was really doing the rounds trying to sell [t]his book. Never heard of Mavis.

Enjoyed it quite a bit as Miss Davis (so her generation was called) seemed to, till the interviewer couldn't be bothered to pronounce her name correctly. Sadly it's almost always Brits who do that. Generally a pretty intelligent conversation.
