  • She is not being a crybaby. She absolutely did not step out of bounds. She has every right to be upset and deserves a medal. Jordan is not at fault and neither is Sabrina. The judges should be ashamed. This could’ve easily been avoided.
  • I mean... There is indisputable video evidence that she never stepped out of bounds. She should definitely win the appeal.
  • What the judges did was very unprofessional. The judging during the entire olympics in various events has been flawed
  • I watched the match live and rewatched it online. The Romanian did NOT step out of bounds. It's robbery!
  • @TonEva68
I mean if she didn’t step out of bounds that would be devastating to lose by a mistake by the judges!!! What if it was your country that was robbed of a medal, what if it was your child that had trained their entire life that lost by a deduction that wasn’t justified?! ***I’ve had this happen to one of my children in a state cheer meet (with video proof) and it was very upsetting to get runner-up when they actually had won. That is NOTHING compared to having that happen on the biggest stage ever, representing your country.
  • I remember that night watching all of them and I felt so bad for Sabrina. She did not step out of bound. Her coach should have advocated and appealed immediately. I thought Sabrina did great!
  • For anyone confused or just want to know, the Olympics said both Voinea and Chiles would receive a bronze medal if the appeal is passed Edit: this is an old comment so this isn’t accurate anymore, as this was the original information, but to my knowledge, Jordan’s medal has been put into question :(

FYI if the appeal goes through, both Ana and Jordan will get bronze medals. It will be a tie. Ties DO happen! Two women got bronze medals for floor exercise in Tokyo because they ended up with the exact same score.

This is not Jordan’s error. Jordan went out competed and her coaches did their job. They were aware she didn’t get the points on the split leap element in qualifying so they were keeping an eye out for that. Cecile then inquired and they approved the appeal. I tho most of us felt for Sabrina (I thought it was Ana) in that moment. But to tear down Jordan in the process speaks volumes on who these people are. Both gymnast worked hard to get there. If Sabrina was scored wrong they’ll both have a medal. I hope for Sabrina her inquiry is approved.
  • @Cakebabyy
I’m a Jordan Chiles fan all the way. But we want this thing scored the right way. My hope is that everyone gets treated equally and fairly. Prayers for all of the young ladies involved.
  • I CANNOT find her presentation anywhere. Has this been blocked by YouTube? Sabrina's, I mean.
  • Stop saying “Jordan submitted”. It was her coaches and the team USA leads who submitted. Jordan didn’t even realize what was going on yet y’all are making it look like she initiated this whole thing
  • Well, did she or did she not step out of bounds? & why doesn't the IOC actually slow-mo video review every single performance prior to scoring them?
  • @Lyca31
I like and respect all the gymnasts involved. But fairness should come into play. Sabrina got deducted for stepping put, but replays have shown she clearly did not step out. The medal belongs to Sabrina. I'd be sad for Jordan, but it should be done fairly.
  • The judges are wrong to refuse the first appeal. They made a mistake to penalize her for an out of bound when her feet were still on the mat. The Romanian gymnast were robbed from a medal.
  • @o.b.9087
I don't care about Chiles, what bothered me the most is how they took the medal from Barbosu. It was disgraceful, how can you reverse a score. It was a terrible moment for the sport.
  • @jccj8201
That changing of the score was weird. Regardless of what country the gymnast represented. That Romanian gymnast looked emotionally devastated. 😐
