  • Many of us still listen to the incomparable Janis Joplin. I had the great privilege to see her live at the Texas International Pop Festival 1969, 2 weeks after Woodstock. She was mesmerizing live! Rest in Peace Janis; thank you for revitalizing the Blues!

  • Saw Janis w/Big Brother And The Holding Company in 1968 when I was 14, second row from the stage at the Denver Auditorium Arena. Still the best concert I've ever been to.
  • 1 hour into 2023 and reminiscing about 1969.I was 17, everything was fresh and new, so much great music and we were happy. Great memories.
