For the last puzzle perhaps use the fork to block the wizard so it doesn't start moving until the cucumber has got to the end?

I think on that last one you are supposed to build a maze in which one of the veggies is slow, and then use the fork to lock in the other veggie. Done right A will have to go from bottom right all the way across the maze to bottom left or something to press the button then go all the way back to bottom right to get to the top right treasure, with B only able to begin its run when A gets to the button.

that's not the timer, that's the step counter, the more step the vegetables moves, more carrots you get.
