“Your honor, my client wasn’t ‘stalking them.’ They were simply the target of his epic months-long trolling.”
  • It is disgusting that people think it's ok to stalk someone just because they are famous.
  • @memereview305
"Target of my trolling" my brother in christ you're harassing and stalking a man
  • It’s really sad watching Danny get legitimately bummed out about this potentially happening to him.

the fact that fidias made me feel bad for elon musk is kind of impressive. no shit the dude who was like “I went to the poorest country in the world for content!!” worships the ground elon walks on
  • @private755
As someone who has been stalked it’s so creepy and unsettling that people are pretending it’s adorable to base their careers off it
  • @RobertIDK
Just when you think your faith in humanity can’t get any lower, leave it to pinely and danny to introduce you to a new flavor of psychopaths
  • @lillysparrow
I like how the title implies that Pinely and Danny stalk Mr. Beast

I'll always be bothered by the fact that the guy who quit his job to ask Logan Paul for one was a welder. That's a decent $50-100K/year job where your boss can't suddenly interrupt or choose to micromanage you. There's no way going full time is more conducive to success than a secure financial situation.

Their whole reason as to why this is normal is basically: "Your honor, they're famous, so therefore stalking is okay." Honestly so creepy.
  • There's a movie from the 70s called "The King of Comedy" about a guy who obsessively stalks a famous tv comedian in order to become a celebrity himself. It's supposed to be a satirical take on our obsession with fame as a culture and the lengths people are willing to go to get it. Now these people came along to recreate that plot but this time in their own lives without any consideration that what they're doing could be considered wrong.

So nice of Pinely to be friends with and platform small creators like Danny Gonzalez and the Annoying Orange. What a good guy!

‘The American dream is you start off rich and then you end up very rich’ Never heard a more real statement

The guy who bought the couches' logic is wild. "Your honour, I wasn't actually trespassing because I own my shoes, so I was always on my own property"
  • @btarczy5067
Props for making me feel sympathy for Logan Paul! Maybe I am an empath.

If it's not okay to sit outside a stranger's house for 70 days, waiting for a hug, why is it okay to do the same thing if the stranger is a celebrity? I really don't understand what goes on in those people's head. They are a stranger to those celebrities and it's incredibly creepy to be stalked by a complete stranger. You don't know if they are clout chasers, obsessed, or potentially dangerous.

I feel like the reason people don't view this horrific stalking as a bad thing is because it's all platonic rather than romantic/sexual. If someone slept outside another person's house until they kissed them (even on the cheek), people would naturally be digusted, but replace kissing with hugging, and suddenly this massive violation of boundaries is a-ok. It's why people say children are ungrateful when they hate getting hugged without their permission when in reality, the kid has a right to not feel comfortable being hugged. I think more people need to understand that boundaries are important regardless of what they are, and that it doesn't stop at romantic/sexual gestures.

The term social hacking is really fitting. These people are kickstarting their influencer career by cutting out normal social behavior.
  • @cinna4462
youtubers need to stop going after mrbeast because i don’t want these clout chasers in my nice quiet north carolina 😭
