  • I've never seen the same light and life in Krist's eyes since Kurt died...

This is the most punk thing I've seen in a while. Potus rules. He was feeling the passion
  • I was at this. Twas a great time. Krist walked by me in his way to the stage and smiled and pointed at my shirt (was wearing the shirt with Nirvana's first hand drawn gig poster on it). Kim Thayil from Soundgarden was standing beside me in the crowd. What an awesome night! Really loved Tacocat's Lounge Act. Champagne Champagne did a dreadful cover of Drain You.

this guy hasn't aged a day in 25 years.however he looked like he was 55 25 years ago.

People: the words aren’t right! Capsar Babbypants: I know it’s wrong, but what should I do?

Lots of people hating on this and I sort of get why, but honestly I still liked it. I feel there was nothing but good intentions here, despite it feeling a bit weird. I have a hard time trying to understand what something like this does to Krist, though. Being an amicable guy and all, it’s not that surprising to see him doing it, but it has to be somewhat painful every time he plays a Nirvana song live. Still love him for who he is and for being cool enough to do it, but I can only imagine he would feel a lot more comfortable playing any other material at this point.

Awesome rendition! He even forgot the lyrics, the same way Kurt would have done. :)
  • @KraftGarde
It's funny how many times he got failed to crowd surfing lol

One of my favorite bands doing my favorite Nirvana song. With Krist.

Fantastic to see the singer gleefully fling himself into the crowd, giving it all he has, and bringing out huge, festival sized fun to the already classic song. With Krist looking like hes really enjoying himself, I can only wonder too, if during performances like this, how things might have been had Kurt stuck around, and Nirvana themselves returned fully recharged and rid of anything that had otherwised ended it all so horribly. Id imagine things like that running understandably thru' Krists mind as he played the song to a joyous audience and band like that, think how things could have been with a new Nirvana, rejuvenated Kurt loving it all up there in the present day, and in the outside world as he deserved to. Happy Birthday Nevermind.

Chris did a great job on this song. Not an easy one to sing.Great to see Krist play it again and the drummer is awesome.
  • @losangulos
Its funny imagining Krist practicing Nirvana songs once every three months, just in case you know
  • I was 13 when Nevermind was released. I bought my first copy of it that fall on cassette tape, and later that next summer my dad gave me his Discman (portable CD player), so of course I went out and purchased the CD version of Nevermind. I still have and still listen to that very same CD. Very bizarre to consider the fact that even people who are currently in their late twenties weren’t even born when Nevermind came out, and in some respects to me it occasionally feels like not that long ago. Very weird to come full circle by seeing Nirvana explode as the hottest new thing and eventually also see them relegated to the history books of classic rock legends. “Now I’m bored and old…”
