  • The Behind The Meme one was insane! I never understood the hate he got, but boy faking his death in that stunt was something else.
  • @Mantulisme
I still don't know how to feel about sketchek, I was happy when he got back because his videos are impeccable but lying about your death is probably one of the worst thing to lie about.
  • @kapzw
it's crazy to see that people fake their deaths for views and clout, this is the society we live in..
  • Sketchek at least had the guts to admit to his lies fully and explain himself, I'm glad that he managed to get himself out of this messy pile of shit that is gaming (well, even though he gamed before gaming became a messy pile of shit), hopefully he's doing well, unlike any other of those clowns.
  • Never forget both XtremeGamez brothers claiming to have terminal illnesses and then getting ‘cured’ by a chiropractor
  • @MixelMan0106
Skectchek's story is the best out of all these, even though it's still not great. I kinda get being done with the internet, although it doesn't excuse what he did.
  • @nerdynanny
People have been pulling this shit since the early days of internet chatrooms and forums. I know someone who faked terminal illness only to have it revealed they were pulling this con as TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. It's disgusting. It's manipulative. It's something only the shittiest people even contemplate doing.

Am I crazy or did Behind the Meme not do anything wrong here? People assumed a highly edited series meant suicide, but it doesn’t seem like he did anything out of control, he was bullied and was ready for the channel to die.
  • @mitsunam7001
Imagine just died, and then after 3 years, they revived with a video called "I'm back.". They must've watched the ads to revive.
  • @ReinBelmont
People taking the Behind the meme videos at face value are as smart as people thinking movies like REC and Paranormal Activities are documentaries of real life events.
  • @rocbot9479
Behind the meme never deserved his hate, he was just trying to explain memes to outsiders. Although, he took it too far by faking his own death
  • @VXA1PSTART
I'm going to be honest, BehindtheMeme was overhated. The fact that people who were "active memers" didn't have to respond like that, saying that he's ruining meme culture by introducing memes to people who were genuinely interested in memes but didn't know what they exactly were. I'm not saying Bryce wasn't in the wrong, because faking suicide is incredibly low and is a slap to the face towards people who had suicidal thoughts.
  • @DankMemeStonks
Never forget XtremeGamerz. These were the pair of brothers who said one of the brothers were dying, but he actually wasn’t. He had something that COULD kill him, but it was imminent nor was it happening then and there. They did it for views and then got called out by Uncle Charles (Moist Critikal) and then deleted the video.
  • @ChazerAPEX
“Today was a good day”-me, because internet anarchist uploaded
  • @richardtheactor
Behind the Meme essentially made an ARG for suicide awareness and got bullied for it. Good job, internet.
  • @phantom0456
@2:10 “both completely healthy.” That is QUITE debatable 😂
  • BTM: "Behind The Meme is dead." Viewers: "Who uploaded this?" Reminds me of Monty Python's "Stake Your Claim" skit.
