The very fact that this guy used to call Trump "reprehensible", compared him to Hitler and is now his VP tells you how little integrity he has.
  • @peterphan227
He's not a chameleon. He's a two-faced grifter and opportunist. He's despicable. The lowest of the low. As Beshear says, Vance has no convictions, but Trump has 34.
  • @Kardashev1
How could Vance be so stupid to not think that his entire past wouldn't come back??

Im not trans nor part of the LGBTQ community, and your last sentence made me emotional. Thank you for opening up to cnn and deliver that message to any kid that needs to hear it.

So after becoming a Dad, he became racist and non compassionate? What a great example for his children; and exactly why people behave the way they do!
  • @OGDittzx
Now JD Vance knows how Eric feels, an unwanted choice that Trump regrets.
  • @joannejoma3223
JD’s anger may arise from his lack of courage to be who he authentically is… A Gay Man

Sofia is a role model for everyone watching, especially transgenders. I love Sofia's bravery, kindness, and optimism.
  • @fancylad22
Is Trump trying to lose? It would be pretty hard to find a worse candidate than Vance.

Takes a lot of guts to come out live on TV like this. He is very brave. Being transgender is scary. It is why it took so long for me to come out that I was a female. No one was surprised. A few of my family were surprised I finally did, though. Everyone was so supportive of me that knew me. Only a few people online that do not know me have not been. Most are online, too. Being loved for who I am, not what other wish to force on me, is so great and wonderful. I do not care what a few people think, that is wrong. JD took the job for the money, fame and power. He sold his soul to Trump. Now he as to live with that.

I’m so proud of Sophia for sharing the truth, this matters. I cried for this betrayal of a friendship, and for the lack of JD’s decency and respect. Sophia, thanks for being so honest.

His friend knows him well and is exactly right about the reasons for his chameleon nature. I have known people like Vance. They seem like good people with strong convictions, but they change because of the desire for money and power. Status is what is important to them. I can not remain friends with them because of the hypocrisy.
  • @daniebello
i don’t understand how someone can abandon all their values so starkly for political ambition
  • @jlvandat69
Yale must be feeling like the mother of a serial killer for being associated with Vance.
  • @BurritoMassacre
Wow JD sounds like he use to be a caring friend, open minded, progressive, kind, just a cool dude. Now not so much.
  • @acme.videos
Great interview! Thank you Sofia for being so brave to come forward with this story. 🙏
  • Vance and trump deserve each other. They’ll look great in chains together.
  • @Sir1626
All I needed to know that JD Vance was putting on front was knowing he called Trump, American Hitler
  • @Drewsco
The fact that he’s changed his name a couple times too is just bizarre. Who the hell is this guy

Thank you for sharing. I have a grandchild transitioning. The more transitioned adults share their stories, the more likely the younger generation will feel validated. My grandchild has attempted suicide twice.
