  • You have to love how in Civil War the same people who are lecturing the Avengers about how dangerous they now are were the same people who tried to fire a Nuclear Missile at the Island of Manhattan, while it was still full of people. That same missile was diverted by one of those so called dangerous Avengers.
  • It doesn’t matter what superpowers the main characters have, plot armor is superior

21:45 to be fair the reason why the watches are moving or spinning within the drawer is that the majority if not all of them are probably automatic watches which have to stay in motion so you do not have to constantly be manually winding them and resetting the time when you eventually wear it again. I want a drawer like that😅
  • Wanda in Age of Ultron vs ANY of her subsequent appearances is literally The Boss when you fight him vs The Boss when he joins your party.

If I am ever lucky enough to turn one of my scripts into a film worthy of a CinemaSins roast… I’m going to include a “hi CinemaSins :)” in my repetitive newspaper article about viagara.

Fun Fact: In Thor Ragnarok, the line, “He’s a friend from work” was not in the original script. It was suggested by a make-a-wish child, who had visited the set on the day of filming.
  • "Asgard is not a place, never was." Like Idaho? I literally just died laughing
  • The ancient one knew strange was supposed "to be the best of us" as revealed in End game. Christine cannot see them when he isn't piercing the veil as noted by the warped light constructs around strange when he is speaking to Christine.
  • In a normal movie, the chain of events that led to Dr Strange finding Pangborn and being guided to the wizard dojo would definitely seem far too contrived. But I have always assumed the fellow mystics sensed his presence on Earth, his potential power and importance to future events - and helped to manipulate events in order to guide him to the monastery. I mean, they're WIZARDS.

“Do the Avengers not have a Drug Testing Protocol in place” I mean, they’d have to kick out Captain America
  • For an advanced synthetic mind, the fact that Vision can't distinguish causality from correlation, makes me not worry about the robots taking over. :) But, you have to understand, Vision is a super overpowered character in the comic books. The dude can alter his molecular density as quick as you can change thoughts. They had to use a maguffin to neutralize him. It kinda felt cheap. But, I understand why they did it. :)

21:46 The watches in the drawer are spinning to keep them wound. 22:06 That specific spot is a stretch of NY Route 97 along the Delaware River near Port Jervis, NY, known as the "Hawk's Nest". It's about a 90-minute drive from Manhattan. But it could very well have been meant to represent somewhere in the Palisades, which is much closer.
  • The MCU has some of my favorite Marvel villains, but William Defoe’s Green Goblin will always be my favorite Marvel villain. Thanos is OP, but Green Goblin is OG.

The watches are spinning because they're 'automatic'.. meaning they have no battery but charge spring tension when in motion. If you stop moving them they die and you'd have to set the time/date every time you wear them. They're not spinning to "get his attention." Jeremy is obviously not a watch guy. And I do have a watch drawer. 21:44

I said this before and the regular doctor strange one, but I'll say it again the difference is that in the first surgery it was more or less routine where the second surgery was something that he was doing without an important instrument which means he really had to focus on the task at hand. It would be akin to driving to work versus driving in a chaotic situation that needs your complete focus. While you should probably focus on your standard drive, you're used to the flow of traffic and you can be more relaxed while listening to music but in a high stress situation your brain needs to be able to shut out all that stuff because you are focusing on what needs to have focus and you can't afford to be distracted.

In regard to the point about Bucky's mind control book, it was likely used whenever the mind control encountered a stimulus that weakened it. Given that everything Bucky knew by the time of The Winter Soldier was long dead, the book's absence and casual location was likely because nothing had triggered Bucky's memory in ages and so the use of the book was neglected and forgotten due to no need for it arising.

The unlimited ammo in the guns doesn’t bother me as much as the fact that the dust cover is closed the whole time he is shooting. That’s about 15 sins right there

Got this as an homepage ad, who’s advertising CinemaSins?
