This is the biggest cash game pot ever recorded in poker history. Wesley runs an epic bluff against the legendary Tom Dwan, who has a pocket pair. However, there is a bizarre twist in this hand: Wesley accidentally exposed his cards to Doug Polk, who now knows exactly what he has, and must keep a stoic poker face. What a thrilling end to the Million Dollar Game on ‪@HustlerCasinoLive‬

You should bring Tom on the podcast once you get back to discuss his thought process but also to hash out past beefs. He seems like that's water under the bridge for him but it would be an amazing poker podcast to have him on and get his perspective on everything that's been said about him over the years. A true journalist or even a man with integrity would want to hear from both sides and at the table Tom brought up a good point that you never reached out. Let's go!

Phil H: "We'll see if you're even around in 10 years. -10 years later. -Wins largest televised cash pot in history.
  • I laughed so hard with Doug Polks face trying to hide it 😅 What a wierd situation to be in 😂

I think Tom was thinking if Wesley had AA or KK, Doug WOULDNT of kept REPEATEDLY saying "i know what you have" so as not to ruin Wesleys action on such a monster hand. Having ruled out Aces and Kings the only hand Tom was worried about was _8 which was very unlikely cause Wesley 5-bet it on flop. Tom wasn't going to admit at the table after the hand that he picked a read off what Doug said cause it would of been awkward.

Absolutely love the Science/Art analogy for Live Vs Online Poker. Spot on Doug!!!

All else aside your “yep” when you look at his hand is just hilarious.

"that's me trying to make back $1.2m ad revenue." hahah, that's some solid dry humour there Doug!
  • Thank you for asking the others to hush because this was such a big pot. You didn't mention that part, but I appreciated it. I've been in hands where I thought it would be nice if I could get some quiet to think but it's harder to ask for that if you're in the hand.

shld be proud of your conduct Doug throughout the show. Star quality and maturity

Toms eyes pan to Wesley and then Doug after the 5 bet. He is clearly trying to get extra info from Doug at that point. Surprised this was not covered. Love the content, thanks for covering.

At times, Doug really looked like a statue sitting there. Hilarious.

My favorite part in all this is Handz just smiling at the sickness. Probably thinking about how he folded top set Queens, and here's Tom calling it off with one pair in a much bigger pot.

Tom Dwan became the MOST winning HCL player of all time. + $1,809,400 and Doug as One of the biggest loser -$835,800 Surprisingly, Airball is not an overall loser he just under -100k.

Remember to round out your balancing by including a few bluffs when you don't see their hand and say you can anyway.
  • @dpatt6175
Best part of the hand is when Wesley went out to the main room and yelled that's how you play Ace King
  • This is the funniest thing i've seen watching doug sit there like that.. lol
  • @iced_tea99
That is crazy hard call. Tom even said it in the post interview. He put in 1500bb on one pair only which can only beat a bluff (obv).

Ironically, every time Doug and Wesley had a big laugh preflop when in the hand with Durr, Durr wins big pot. Sometimes it's expensive to act funny when in big hands against the best player. But it's very entertaining, please keep doing it on stream.
