Bankroll management is an underated skill.

The fact that high tier players still chose to play at the Hustler after the J4 cheating is amazing to me. If you go there and lose money that’s on you.

That Q of diamonds was the poker gods saying "go back to 1/3"

Ethan built a fantastic following. Crushing 2/5 games, making the upward trajectory along with Mariano. A legend in MA. Rampage was born. Going on trips to Las Vegas sent his followers into a tizzy. His merchandise exploded. Hitting the live streams was epic. We couldn’t wait to see the previous nights results and vlogs. But now, Rampage has become a gambler, and a very bad one at that. While Mariano has been steady, analyzing his play, reading his opponent’s tells, Ethan is getting sloppy. His bullish style doesn’t quite fit with the cards he holds. I wish he’d take a step or two back and put out some quality poker content that we used to relate to. Taking an ‘L’ isn’t a bad thing if your play is on point.

I think the problem is he moved up in stakes thinking that’s what he wanted his fans to see, I’d rather watch someone excel in their respective stakes than get rinsed session after session

If I had that much money to lose playing poker, I wouldn't be playing poker.

He’s a really good dude, so praying for his downfall, is ridiculous. There’s a lot worse out there to root against.
  • I know that feeling losing a lot less lol. That feeling of someone tearing your heart out through your asshole.
  • You should never play a game risking your whole bankroll. Never risk more than 10 to 15%. I never play with other people's money either.

Hold Em is like being in an abusive relationship - You get beaten up BUT You come back for more every time

I dont play such high stake, but i know the pains that was on his face. When u are sooo tilted and just couldnt catch any break, it is devastating!! Poker is such a SICK game!!!

Rampage is a stronger tournament player than he is in cash game. That, and he moved up in stakes way too quick in my opinion. Vloggers pick and choose the fascinating plays and high pots they take down when editing. It's much different playing sharks in "real time."

In the first hand when Rampage rivers broadway and the 3rd flush card appears on the river, I disagree with you Alex, there is no reason to raise for value when there are a ton of flush draws in Brandon’s range, and the pot is big enough at that point.

61K the worst call of the century

Great play calling a 3 bet pre with 4 high, a winning strategy obv.

Bad Variance Rampage is a legend Regardless. Master Punter! Bad plays here but also getting caught bluffing when the Villains have a bunch of reasonable made hands to call when he goes nuts. GG!
  • If this is true i actually warned him of this. I told him to get back to me in 10 years. He probably has a trust fund. I wouldn't play high stakes at hustler or no where filming.

Rampage used to sun run. I knew it can’t last forever although it seemed like it could. He used to be the guy with AK on JT8Q vs 9x. He’s a good player but probably with a gambling addiction problem. Needs to play higher and higher. You can see how much stress he’s in now. He needs to take a break. I don’t think he can go broke, there’s too many people who can stake him 😅
