Absolute Zero is a mod that aims to recreate the beta version of half-life when it was still in development. A lot of the game has been changed in the mod. It might not be the most accurate thing but its cool either way. As of right now, it's only in beta, but will be released in October of 2020. The beta only has part of the game available to play.

To me the beta assets are like a cheesy, low-budget 80s movie whereas the finished game is like a Hollywood blockbuster. They're both cool in their own ways.

To add context to the German censorship option at 0:46, the soldiers were turned into robot's and if you shot a friendly enough times, they don't die. They just sit down and shake their head at you every time you interact with them.
-
10:47 they shoot while walking!

The red things are called Panther eyes. Those flying things are called Stukabats.

Fun fact: The corridor at the beginning of Absolute Zero is present in c0a0d in the retail version of Half-Life, but the player cannot access the corridor until c0a0e, where it appears completely different.
-
That scientist didn't look scared. He just looked prepared...for foreseen consequences.
