Some Easter eggs I saw people talking about: - the wine in the dinner party is red and she didn’t drink any, symbolizing how she was not 21 and uncomfortable. As well, that Taylor doesn’t like red wine so he didn’t know her that well. Which ties back to the party scene when she’s drinking white wine. - the birthday cake scene, where the birthday cake is the same from lover. In the short film Taylor has an open space to her right, symbolizing him not being there. Whereas in lover with the birthday cake scene is the actor playing her current boyfriend, Joe. Showing that he’s there for her when Jake wasn’t. - Also there’s a lot of hints to Jakes fashion sense with Dylan’s clothes like the beanie, Sherpa jacket and flannels. One of the flannels, which Sadie is shown to be wearing in bed crying!!! - Also the car in the video was made in 1989 so people think it’s gonna be the next album!! (Hope that makes sense!)

You can see in the beginning that Sadie has a ring on her finger and people say that its a purity ring. When she’s in bed with Dylan, the ring isn’t there anymore (being highlighted with all the hand shots in bed) which helps explain why this breakup was so hard for her.

I'm happy to know that Brooke never related to a single thing on this short film because Sam clearly genuinely loves her a lot <3

One thing everyone should know is that Taylor did this 10-minute version song and film is solely for us (swifties). The label record did not ask her to do this, not her team, not anyone. The last scene of her turning All Too Well into a book and talking on stage in front of the audience, is actually showing that she's telling her personal story between her and Jake to her fans because she knows she has a personal connection between her fans and her. In 2012 when she released this song, she never expect her fans to love this song as the lyrics are so personal to her. She said in an interview before that she actually wrote a 10-minute version of All Too Well but was cut off to 5 minutes. Her fans then asked for the original version for 9 years until today, hence there it is... with a short film. She's doing everything her fans want her to do. She never wanted fame anymore after she found Joe. Queen stuff.
