Tips Provided In Video (information accurate as of January 2021)
*ROM Update for military (20210817)*
ROM has changed to a working ROM status which means a little more freedom. It is now the sponsors responsibility for all transportation (drive from airport to hotel, COVID test, etc.). Medical personell do not go to your room to test for COVID. Thank you for the tip KyaGaming!!
-One hour outside time per day. This is scheduled through the front desk on a first come first serve basis. Jump ropes/balls/chalk encouraged.
-Bring lots of crafts.
-Breakfast is provided at by the hotel, order the day prior by 2pm. Via forms provided.
-Dirty linens are replaced when you leave them outside your door between 8 am - 4 pm.
-Hotel delivers supplies such as food/alcohol/medicine and supplies to your door.
-Your sponsor handles the bulk goods, like groceries.
-You will have to attend approximately 4 hours of online orientation/housing briefs that you have to register with your sponsor prior to attending.
-Use a VPN to allow your streaming services such as Disney+, Netflix, etc. to still work.
-Bring a first aid kit.
-We had to get a COVID test to be released.

This video is full of great information but as of 8/15/2021 (actually an earlier date) the protocol has changed up a bit. Now there's something called Working ROM, and no bus transport to West Pac. They also no longer go to the room for your COVID tests. All transport has to be coordinated with your sponsor. Lots of changes to procedure but the rest of the video is still very relevant in terms of the TIPS you provide and how to pack and such. I still recommend anyone new to the island follow your channel. Thanks for the videos and keep them coming!! (Currently in working ROM as a DOD dependent until the end of the month.)

Lol fire alarm! I lived on camp kinser in the towers almost 10 years ago and every week we had a fire alarm! Got to the point where people didn’t come out for them 😅

Such a great video! Husband and I are about to come to Okinawa as well during Covid, gives us a great visual of what to expect. What VPN for streaming did you guys use?? and also did you guys make a make-shift kitty litter box in the carrier during the flights? Or just provided food and water for the kitties. Again, awesome video!
