The amazing thing about them years was that pop music was great, rock n roll was great, motown was great, heavy metal was great, country was great, yes all was great. There will never be another period of time with music like that, and that includes the whole decade. Long live the 70s, and the Rock N Roll Generation.
  • This brings me back to Sundays listening to Casey Kasem's Top Forty on my transistor radio. Ahhh, good times!! Life and music were so much better!!! ❤️❤️😊

Born in 1963....this definitely was emotional for me with the childhood memories of my first radio playing these tunes....such a comfortable time in 1973.
  • I can't remember what I came into the room for, but I put this music on and I can remember every single word of EVERY song and what I was doing the first time I heard the song!! The 70's, what a decade for music ❤️
  • @kmo3811
The 70's was the BEST decade of music ever!
  • Born in 58 just in time for some of the best music. We Wont see another like it.
  • I was a teen in the 70s had my first child in 75 and no one can say this wasn't the best era for good, awesome, beautiful music.
  • I graduated high school in 1973. In some ways it seems like yesterday listening to the old songs--- If you're young today, believe people when they tell you how fast your life will fly by. Enjoy and appreciate it all. Good memories are very important to have--when you're old.
  • I was a teen in the 70's, music was a big part of my life, so many styles of music, great to hear some of these. Thank you
  • I was born in 1999, and I can undoubtedly say that there’s a huge, almost inexplicable difference between popular music from the 70s and the popular music of recent years. Not only in terms of craftsmanship and musical composition, but I think it all boils down to class. Music today completely lacks class. You don’t even have to listen to it to know that; all you have to do is read the lyrics. All these artists from the 70s seemed to have such a way with words, and artists these days can’t seem to go ten seconds without throwing in explicit words or making something hyper-sexualized... and as I’ve witnessed; it has very toxic effects that direct how the audience choose to live their lives; what exactly they prioritize in life... I’m afraid to say I feel I was born much too late. I can only wish for music to truly be good again.

The range of music genres is what marks the 70/80's music for me - so eclectic. And the fashions 😊
  • I was 10 years old in 72 and remember alot of these coming out and still have my 45's today, back when music was great
  • I was born in 59 and I grew up with this music, some of the best in history,
  • @JohnLee-pt5jz
I said before and I will say it again, the seventies are the best decade for music, and I was glad I was there.
  • Born 1966 and to only have a cheap battery powered AM transistor radio to listen to these songs was probably the greatest feeling back then. I can still smell the smell the raido had. Born in the 60s lived through 70s ,80s,90s and into 2000s. I'd have to say the 70s were the best years.
  • I was born in '72. You can almost smell and touch the vinyl. Some songs I had totally forgotten about like Beautiful Sunday. That must have been played a lot in our house. Very nostalgic 👍
  • @debbieanne7962
I was born in 1960 so remember most of these. It's great you do choose number ones from different countries. Loved Slade, Sweet and David Cassidy
  • @Mike-gc9ih
I was born in 1956 and grew up with the best cars and music 😁🎶🎶🎶
