This Cougar has the looks! Scoops, spoilers and stripes! It is a pleasure to drive to with a/c and a strong 351. Same owner since 2002!

EXTERIOR: I get the impression this is a good solid body. It appears to be very dry, there's no bubbles or rust showing anywhere. It lines up very nicely, it is straight. It's decked out with front and rear spoilers, sport mirrors, a scoop on the hood and racing pins. A cool factory feature you don't get on a Mustang are retractable headlights and sequential tail lights. Repainted a real good looking Grabber Green with a smooth glossy finish. It's trimmed out with the Eliminator striping. It has it's original chrome and glass. The black convertible top is power and has a glass rear window. Reproduction 15 inch chrome Magnum wheels were the perfect choice.

INTERIOR: The white interior looks great against the Grabber Green, very refreshing color combo. The dash area is very clean, unabused, not broken or beat up. The vents, dash pad, instrument panel are great. It has a factory AM-FM radio and rim blow horn that work. The center console with a floor shifter all looks great. The upholstery, front and back looks sharp. The door panels are very good, they each have a nick on the edge.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: I'm going to guess the 351 Windsor was just rebuilt because it looks absolutely fresh and runs so nice. All stock manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner etc. All the components look proper and clean. It is complete with horns, washer fluid bottle and battery hold down. It features factory air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. All the metal surfaces are clean and painted very neatly. The shock support is chromed. It's a good looking motor compartment.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted very smooth and glossy. Inside the trunk is painted the same color too. It has a reproduction mat, weatherstrip and sticker. 5th matching new Magnum wheel and Firestone tire for a spare.

UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. It has disc brakes in front, drum in back, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Factory type dual exhaust system. Looking up at the motor it looks spotless, starter and fuel pump look fresh. It has it's original Cruise-O-Matic trans, the tag is still attached. Original 3.00 traction lock rear end, the tag is still attached. The floors and frame rails all appear to be very solid metal.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the fuel pump and fuel line going to the carb. We repaired the a/c by replacing the expansion valve and compressor then charge the system.

My daughter was walking through the showroom and took a picture of this car, texted it to me and said "It's hot"! I do agree with her. It has the looks and it has the features that make it a great driver. Someone will get a lot of enjoyment out of this one.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

I'm not certain but the module you were questioning on the firewall is for intermittent wipers if I'm not mistaken. Very rare on a '69/70. The control box for the sequential turn signals is under the trunk mat on the driver side.
  • That's a beautiful classic that anyone should want to drive... ❤️❤️❤️🔥✌️🤙🤙🤙👍🇺🇲

Why do magnum 500 wheels look good on everything? 😊

Every single guy I’ve ever met from the Midwest ….without fail…..calls the center console a “center council”. Hahahahahaha. 😂 Not sure why. Reminds me of people in government saying “Nucular Weapons”. 🤪
