"I don't know anything about cutting trees down" ... don't have to be a pilot to recognize a plane crash.
-
I'm not sure about the whole "We got lucky" bit. When the camera zooms back out, the overhead line has gone 🤣
-
“Buffoons Cutting Trees” as a show at 9pm would definitely blow up.
-
That tree definitely took out a power line
-
And where did that powerline/phoneline/whatever go?
-
That tire swing . Lol
-
The insurance for cutting grass part was pretty hilarious 😂
-
Not sure how lucky we were, that street that wasn’t closed is also now without power it seems
-
That tire swing tho.. lmao. One would think you'd remove the ol Michelin Decapitator first.. but hell ... Fk it
-
I'm pretty sure he took out a power line. Watch the power company charges thousands to tens of thousands of dollars to have those replaced if you damage them. 😮😮😮
-
Thank goodness they didn't bother taking down the tire swing.
-
No PPE probably means no experience and no insurance.

Thank you for bringing the insurance issue up, I am in a tree removal business and we have to deal with these "fly by nighters" every day. Trying to tell the homeowner of these issues never seems to work though.

One thing I know. I am not qualified to cut down big trees. I spoke to a pro years ago and he told me they climb the trees and take out sections at a time. The most dangerous way he said was making cuts at the trunk. He had seen the trees spin uncontrollably as they went down. If there is weakness caused by disease, the falling tree can be unpredictable as to where it will land. Leave it to the professionals.

As a former owner of a Tree removal and trimming business I can 100%. Guarantee this idiot didn't have a clue what he was doing and had no insurance for said result. Know who you are dealing with and if they quote much less than known reputable companies be wary. Seeing this only makes me happy people didn't die. No disrespect to Funk FPV, he's spreading the awareness 👍

Power line didn’t survive

Friend of mine was a trained professional and died when the tree behaved in an unexpected way and crushed him. Survived Afghanistan, killed by oversized broccoli. Be careful out there.

No need for skills when you have *power equipment*😅
-
As a sawyer, I know a lot about cutting down trees. These videos of tree felling gone wrong you find are both horrifying and hilarious. I'm not going to say I have never made a mistake, but I will say that I have never tried to use heavy equipment to correct my mistakes lol
