    I have used some PSA barrels no issues with them. Same with Bear Creek. But, I have had several friends buy complete Bear Creek upper and I have had to put them back together properly. Mostly stuff like misaligned gas blocks. Hard to believe you could misalign a dimpled barrel but, they can. I have no problem using budget parts or even buying a complete upper from either company. I am just gonna pull it apart and torque everything properly and get it all line up.

    Quality Control didn't miss anything. PSA doesn't have quality control.

    Holy cow. Looks like a lot of metal shavings where the buffer tube was burred and the bolt sheared it then ripped the buffer retaining pin and spring forward. ETO Cuz to the rescue! ‘Merica!

    You're buddy is lucky to have you around. I'm sure there are going to be some qc issues with any manufacturer that produces as much as they do.

    My cousin had a BCA lower in exactly the same shape. I was confused as to why the detent and spring were even in there since the tube couldn’t hold it in. That looked like the mag catch spring 😂. I’ve had a few issues with psa stuff but i just figure it’s cool since it’s so cheap. I get a 300 dollar upper and just gotta tighten up a few things so it’s worth it to me. Guys who don’t know how to work on guns and end up paying a smith to fix a gas block kinda miss out though.

    Had the exact same problems, replace the retaining spring and pin, still will NOT stay in place (down three springs)

    I just opened my Premium 16" CHF FN barreled upper. Got a new bcg also. Slid it in and it won't charge. I tried it on 3 of my lowers and it still doesn't work. I looked in the receiver and the damn gas tube is crooked. I don't think I can fix it guess I'm sending it back. Damn

    I like PSA stuff but they really need to up their QC on their products.
