We played a game in a film studio and the robotic camera arm got some NICE shots. This is the "goodfellas" shot of wargaming. Camerawork and editing by Cinecore Media.

This is a hype video for an over-the-top exhibition game of Grimdark Future sponsored by One Page Rules and Monument Hobbies. OPR is in charge of the game and the minis, and MH is in charge of the paint. :-)

  • That camera rig movement is so clean that it makes the footage seem like a render. Even though I know its real physical objects
  • @esotabletop
The most impressive part about this is how its all in focus during a continuous shot!
  • If I didn’t know better, I would say those were 3d rendered models. You and the other painters did an AMAZING JOB!
  • @sanni889
If I was GW I would just hire these people because this clip is the best clip in table top gaming.
  • @goreborn6045
If that ain't the most amazing thing out there, i don't know what is...
  • This is so cool, the smoothness actually messes my perception, since nothing viewed in nature is that smooth so makes it feel unreal. 9/10 only lost points for no close-up of that trex in the back ;)
  • @laam999
Yeah ok, the titles not clickbait. I've been wanting to see this since you first mentioned on paint bravely but actually seeing it is way cooler.
  • @euansmith3699
With the amazing paint jobs, these minis look like they are computer game assets. 😄
  • @Kazad22
You can feel nice when models from the clip, I'm just finishing printing myself (deamon warrior's). I feel like a small brick in this epic project, supporting OPR on patreon for a year, I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Great collaboration! Regards.
  • Siiiiiick. Imagine if you could write a program that could detect the placement, removal, and orientation of figures and generate a a semi automatic battle report / video. This is the type of technological art that gives nerds purpose.
  • @foolwise4703
When will that video actually come out? I'm kind of looking forward 🙂
  • @EugenAnanin
This ist crazy! Can't wait for the Battle Report
  • @solidhalon
Wow. This is really cool. The lens is the small pipe. Interesting.
  • @bicskeiz
I normally dont care about battle reports, and there are very few that I actually enjoyed... But that looks amazing, cant wait to see it!
