Heard this song for the first time today. I love the chord progressions, but the best thing about it are the lyrics about having to set emotional boundaries when part of you really doesn't want to. One of the best songs on this subject that I've heard.

Charlie, when this came out I was homeless, in and out of jail, and unhealthy. Now I have a house, a good job, and a husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Lone Dancer” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together. I love you ❤🎉
