  • Great video…. Pink sapphire most likely. Great find! There is every color possible when it comes to sapphires. Try your black light to see if she fluoresces. If she glows it was most likely treated.
  • There are pink rubies and pink sapphires I have a yellow sapphire ring that was labeled citrine
  • Hi, Sandra! Generally speaking, rubies and sapphires are the same gem. They are both corundum. Red corundum is ruby and every other color corundum is sapphire. Gemstones goes over this in more detail on their channel. They are a great resource to learn about gem stones and gem materials. I hope this information helps. 🙂
  • @Angle86
    Its pink sapphire.. beautiful ❤️
  • There is such a thing as a pink ruby. Rare & very valuable. The first time you tested it though, it came up as a pink sapphire. I have a pink ruby.

Pink sapphire, purple sapphire and spinel blue, green and several other colours. Get them professional tested cos you might be sitting on a little fortune.!
  • The pink ring could be both, but if it's a pink sapphire it is very rare. Take it a gem person.
  • The pink is a Pink Sapphire and the Purple Sapphire. Theirs many colors of Sapphire.😊🎉
  • Hi Sandra, at TS 13:21 the brooch may be rhodium plated. If one needs to get through it to see if it’s precious metal underneath, it can be a bear to get through. We can see why some of these pieces last for so long, right? That rhodium is a very hard substance. Great video! 👍❤
  • Happy Sunday, Sandra 😎. Thx for schooling us on testing both metals and stones 👍
