I think your latter option for Time Undone is the better choice. Knight of Nights has always been planned to be a book series instead of an animated series, as it would never be finished otherwise. Then I convert it into an audio drama-style video for the channel to drive more people to "read" it, because I've found it's hard to get the Bionicle Community to read anything. If what you really want is to tell a story, that's the best option I have found, and you can always make videos of the more pivotal or interesting scenes later.

My advice: Let the boat do the lifting. If you try to carry an aircraft yourself, you could pull a ball joint. Okay, but seriously, the idea of just animating a few scenes and leaving most of the series as written is a great idea. A finished story is absolutely worth it! I didn't mention this in my question for this video, but, believe it or not, ye olde Dinosaur Island is still a thing. It's obviously very different (the main difference being that the recent seasons are actually watchable and something I'm quite proud of), but it still exists. However, I am getting to a point where I neither have the time nor the motivation to keep putting as much work into it as i have been. For me the time constraint is going to come from work and university, as oppose to a giant floating air port but you get the idea. Anyhow, point being, I'm planning on doing a final season of the show as an audio book. I basically came to a decision similar to yours--my options are try to keep doing what I'm doing now, never finish the story and burn out, or make sure the story is completed properly, just in a different format. I think the latter is definitely the way to go, and no matter how you release Time Undone I am still very much looking forward to it.

BIOtube creators never truly leave. They simply evolve to the next series. New parts, efficient and shinier than before. Not so much trying to recapture the glory of old, but improve it and re-design it into something that is truly their own. Something they made with their own two hands. Unlike Hero Factory. ;-)

Can't wait to see how Time Undone comes to be. Sounds like a very interesting concept. I myself have a continuation/soft reboot of Bonkle G1 and while I'm still resource hunting, the script is still a work in progress.

You could definitely do something like wombat combat does and do a voice over of each episode and post in on YouTube this would greatly help those who put on your content for background noise as they work

I think that if you want to release the narrative through text, one way to do it is to release it here in audiobook format, with the music and all the voice actors. It’s a compromise between the two options, that will leave more people interested in content (unlike with reading content, because, let’s be real - reading is hard and boring), but also would save more of your time and effort

Mac, you should defined make a Discord server! It would let this community connect even more, share info and have fun. It's a great idea to have the story written out and only parts animated, I'd rather have the whole story than only have a little bit and it never get finished.

Either an audio series or a novel of some kind I think would be best for it.
