"Helping people is at the bottom of the list for being a doctor." 1000% LOL
  • @estmeta
The best part? Ronny Chieng's Chinese family name, 錢, literally means Money.
  • @mastergecko1178
Me as a Chinese guy: "I don't wanna be a doctor." My mom: "So you have chosen... ENGINEER"
  • @lordsiomai
what I find even more astounding is, for as wide and diverse Asia is as a continent, this is almost universal with Asian parents

Chinese parents: "Why aren't you applying to med school?" Also Chinese Parents: "I have a fever it must be because I ate too much tropical fruit"
  • @samphan2859
“helping people is at the bottom of the list” as an asian, fact 😂
  • At least Persians give you the option of Lawyer, Engineer OR Doctor. Three options. Very generous
  • As an Indian I can confirm that whatever he said is 100% true in an Indian society as well.
  • Honestly his golden phrase of "Hope You Get Rich" stick in my head every single Chinese New Year. Anyway for those who see my comment, wishing you a happy Chinese New Year and HOPE YOU GET RICH! 🤭
  • @BatmanPops
I like how he sounds American and Chinese at the same time perfectly 😃
  • @freaker126
he should include the joke that Chinese people so rich they even buy money to burn money and send it to their relatives in the afterlife. :p
  • This guy is actually funny. Hope he makes it big. I’m learning as he’s making me laugh.
  • Haha!! As a previous figure skating coach this is so true. The 1st generation immigrant moms would walk their 3 year old kids into the rink and tell us that they want their kid to go to the Olympics. Almost all our Asian skaters would get full rides to Yale and Harvard for medical school. Love you Ronnie!
  • I love how real the joke is.. We're Chinese love money, we also burn the money after our parent died so the can spend it on afterlife.. lol
  • @imjeffreylee
I mean he’s not telling jokes, he’s just talking about facts in a funny way lol
