No joke, once my mom called and asked me how to take a picture on iphone and send it to me for printing. It took me 15 mins to patiently explain it while she took notes. 1hr later all I got was an sms with the word ''picture''... I cried for the 1st time in 6 yrs.

I felt the rage. Explaining computer shit to anyone over a certain age really IS special type of torture.
  • Got too real when he said “you’re right ma, whoever designed the system is stupid”
  • "Moms are like t-rex; they can't see things if they don't move..." I fell off my chair and died! 🤣

"Sure, they had their own challenges. Like Hitler" I'm crying.

This is literally the first time I've ever heard someone mention torrents in a stand up routine and I'm highly amused by it.

Did I just watch Ronny go through a PTSD episode of flashbacks of fixing his mom's computer?
  • “Don’t book my flight I’ll book it myself YOU’LL MESS IT UP!!!”
  • @oneshotme
LMAO Sounds more like he's venting than telling a joke LOL

As a Singaporean living in Australia with a computer illiterate parent, this is highly specific content that I appreciate LMAO HELP

Ohh man... The mom situation is 100% relatable. Add to that the fact that you have to speak nicely, cannot get angry at them and have to make sure they feel appreciated for the efforts they are putting ... All the time while frustration builds up inside you.
  • "Everything in the universe is stupid except for you, Mom" I totally felt that one.

You know she was just standing in the kitchen staring out the window while he was explaining what to do.
  • I asked my grandp to put the mouse pointer on the screen, he lifted up the mouse off the pad and he literally put the mouse on the surface of the screen.

Several times a year I watch this sketch by Ronnie Cheng to cheer myself up after helping my elderly parents do something basic on a computer... like add an email attachment, or save a file to a folder. It doesn't matter how much I try to help them, nothing sinks in. I fricken love this sketch! Everyone below a certain age can relate to it. Thank you Ronnie, you funny bastard!

This was way too real for me. I want to thank Ronny. I never realized I was not alone. Maybe someday, a support group for the countless number of us that have and continue to experience this form of torture will be formed.

"Mom, just give me your Youtube login and password, I will fix it now. " Then my mother thought I am an Indian internet Scammer and hung up on me.

The dislikes are probably from moms who didn’t know how to press the like button

It's scary how accurate this is, whenever my mom called me with laptop problems I almost had an aneurysm...at one point I decided to just give her the biggest ipad and now she's happy
  • I remember my grandma decided she wanted to go back to college a few years back… and her classes were online. This rendition is extremely accurate.
