Curtis Armstrong (Dan's VA) once walked by our booth at a convention in Indianapolis shortly after Dan vs. ended. I said to him "Hey! I love Dan vs." and he said in the saddest voice I could imagine "Yeah... so did I" and he literally hung his head and walked away. This wasn't a bit; the man seemed legit devastated :(

The fact that Dan vs. aired on the same channel as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is like the show just predates Isabelle and DOOM Guy or Barbie and Oppenheimer.

Dan Vs was such an underrated show. Always loved watching bits of it here and there, and the "I don't care who the IRS sends, I'm not paying taxes!" bit never gets old

That one time Dan Vs. and My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic has their own Barbenheimer and Doom Crossing back in 2012 or 2013.

I think one of the reasons that Dan works so perfectly as a character is that characters with negative qualities are, most of the time, some of the most relatable characters in fiction, we've all slacked off like Mordecai and Rigby, we've all felt indifferent at others like Daria and we've all felt angry about the world surrounding us like Dan does. Negative qualities are more relatable than positive ones because they happen more often.

A key aspect of this show that really made it for me was that when Dan gets angry at something and seeks out revenge, more often than not his conspiracies are…usually proven right! In addition, he ends up winning most of the time against things like a supervillain dentist, an animal shelter, or the ENTIRETY OF CANADA. It’s such a welcome subversion of the typical “you’re just imagining things” or “just desserts” these kind of scenarios lend themselves to. It also makes Dan feel more like the protagonist and less like an antagonistic main character.

I still watch this show till this day, it was way before it’s time. 😢

This show was very underrated considering the crazy stuff that Dan will always would get into.

Dan Vs. is like Regular Show, where it can be mistaken as an adult cartoon but kids could still watch it.

There are 53 episodes of Dan Vs. and to this day I have only watched 52. I can not bring myself to watch Summer Camp, because it would represent me personally and officially closing the door on the series. I would love it if they would bring this show back. Thanks for doing this video!

Holy heck, I never in a million years thought that you would ever get to reviewing Dan Vs Jordan! You just made so many people's day! Dan Vs was and is still one of my all time favorite Hub Network shows hell every now and then I still binge it right here on YT!

Dan reminds me of an old friend from many years ago who had some of the same thoughts about everything being out to get him. I miss that guy.

One of my favorite shows from The Hub. I even still follow the Facebook page which still occasionally makes posts with references from the show & new jokes depending on the post.

Oh my God, YES. Finally you cover this. This show was IT when it was airing. It was so different from other shows and never really got boring.

DAMN RIGHT, do I remember Dan VS! It's still crazy how this show premiered alongside MLP on The Hub. Imagine if this show were to be accepted on Adult Swim or MTV instead of The Hub.
